A Disney film for those that would prefer a nod to science instead of castles. Don't get me wrong, it's not educational, but if your kids like to pretend along with their cartoons, at least they're playing nerds. One of the more enjoyable movies I've watched with my son and very pretty on Blu-ray. It's funnier than your typical Disney film, but not as funny as Emperor's New Groove.

Got this movie on a whim and thought it was pretty funny. Loved the "science is cool" vibe the movie portrayed (because it is) and hope there are more like it down the pipe. Buy this movie because it's a good flick, but if anything do it to support creators that understand the value of math and science and the need to spark that interest in the younger generations through a fun film.

This movie is great, it has all the good features of plot, from Underlying themes of how to overcome adversity, cope with grief, turn hate and anger into something positive, and the bond between family and friendship are the greatest strength. And having a sweet michelin man type robot armored to the teeth with gear to take one anything. If i could give it more than 5 stars i would.

You might not think that a film about a robot and its owner could make you feel so strongly, but think again. This film hits in places you wouldn't have otherwise thought were possible. If you haven't seen it already, give it a go. The steelbook is beautiful and the artwork is top notch.

Movie started slow and predictable. Then the movie improved greatly. It's fun, fast moving and then there is bmax. Typical Disney movie where someone close passes on early, and the good guy saves the girl... Only complaint, not 3D... 1 bag popcorn needed but never finished as it holds your attention well.

I never seen the movie when it came out in the theaters. One night we decided to purchase it while in Best Buy. No lie this movie plays at least 2 twice a day in my house. My son loves it. It is the only movie I found that he sits through the whole thing without moving around in between. The story has some sad parts in it but it also teaches the value of friends and family.

Of course my kids were waiting to see this movie again so when I surprised them with it on the day it came out, there was a lot of jumping and "Oh my gosh I cant believe you bought this for us". I rarely purchase games or movies so you know this was a must have for the kids. There is a sad part that caused my kids bawl in the movie theatre, but I won't spoil it for you. Enjoy.

I originally watched this movie with my wife and son at a local AMC theater. We enjoyed it thoroughly as it had great action, humor, and memorable characters with much emotional depth. While the movie does stray away from the original comic book source material, it stands tall on its own right. It's worth a purchase (especially when you get Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copies for $20).

It's rare that an entire family of 15 can equally enjoy a movie. In fact, this might the first time that's ever happened. The story is easy to follow, but interesting to keep the attention of adults. It's high-energy fun and features some great voice talent. The extra features are a bit slim, but there's enough here to make it a worthy purchase over a rental. Highly recommend!

I thought the movie started off with the wrong messages about what is important in life. Slowly as he fought the villan who had stolen his invention, our hero began to see that his brilliant technology wasn't near as important as human life. The robot invented by his brother had tried to instill that in him from the beginning, but it took him awhile to get the message.

I was able to get this steelbook on a sale and it was definitely worth that and more. I loved the movie and story so getting a great steelbook with that was a nice bonus. The voice acting is solid and the pacing is good. Villain was so-so. Great for anyone who wants to watch a superhero movie.

My daughter LOVES this movie. It was one of her first in the theater so we had to buy it when it came out. I was impressed with the story. It takes some chances with some of the emotional moments but it works. We used the TV to make it 3D and that added a visual element to it as well. Finally, this came with the digital copy. I have watched it on multiple business trips.

I've been a huge fan of the original Marvel Comics, so when this film was released in the cinema, I saw & enjoyed it. The story was different from the original graphic novel, but it still retained all of the fun & heart. The animation is excellent! It reminded me so much of the Pixar classic the Incredibles. See this movie! Buy it! You'll see why it deserved its Oscar win!

I really enjoyed this film the first time I saw it. Bought it for Christmas for our collection and listened to it in the van as we took a drive over Christmas. This is a well written movie with lots of great stuff for everyone. Kids still crack up laughing at certain parts, no matter how many times they see it. Really a good choice for a family friendly film.

Enjoyable for our entire family to watch. We have a 4 year old that wants to watch it repeatedly. First movie he stayed engaged with from beginning to end. We'd like to find a Japanese version (since it takes place in Sanfrantokyo and the main characters are Hiro and Tadashi). This would have been a great movie for 3D too. Too bad it wasn't released that way on video.

I was so happy to finally find this movie on sale! It is my daughter’s favorite movie and I was finally able to get it for her. It was one of the many surprises she got for her birthday and she was ecstatic!!! A movie the whole family will love. There will be tears and laughter.

A Disney/Marvel collaboration that is a heart-warming and humor-filled story that children and adults alike can enjoy and appreciate. The screenplay does a good job of laying the back story for the adventure and the visuals are great. This is a very well made movie that uses terms and ideas of real robotics research. The story centers on a 14-year-old genius named Hiro Hamada who lives in the city of San Fransokyo and is too smart for school. His life changes when a tragedy strikes and he must apply himself and work with his new found friend, Baymax to solve the crime. Blu-ray 2.39: 1 aspect ratio with special features

We took my 3 year old to see this in theaters, and was a natural purchase when it came out on DVD. The story line is a little mature for his age, but then again he doesn't really get the darker aspects of the film or some of the plot moves, but the family friendly humor and action keep all of us entertained. It has changed how we fist bump forever! Great film.

There really is something here for everyone. Without giving too much away, Big Hero 6 manages to evoke a great amount of joy and laughter, all while still being a pretty serious film. We were a bit surprised at how dark things could get in this film, but those moments brought us to care even more for the characters involved, and I'm very happy with my purchase!

My family and I have enjoyed watching this movie in the theatre and now on Blu-ray. It is unique and entertaining. Action packed with good humor throughout. I don't hesitate to put it on when my kids ask to see it again, and I usually wind up joining them. We quote several lines from the movie for a laugh every so often as well. I am glad we own this movie.
