I really love this movie. So much fun, great characters and a compelling story line. The 4K transfer is clear and beautiful and is really entertaining to watch. Definitely pick this one up!

Considered one of the first Disney/Marvel collaboration, the result is a heart-warming and humor-filled story that children and adults alike can enjoy and appreciate. The studio behind the positively received Frozen from last year was true to the comic source material and adeptly converted it into a emotionally driven story filled with loss, revenge, and redemption themes. The animation and 3D effects are undeniably top-notch. The fictional city of San Fransokyo brilliantly consisted of a mix of Western and Eastern inspirations and architecture. Colors were as vibrant as ever and all of the big action set pieces involving the nanobots were smoother than ever. I can see Baymax as the next generation of Disney mascots thanks to the superb comedic timing and overall huggable design. Already, this marshmallow man has made his way into various malls, theaters, and stores.

movie itself is really great,lots of fun,very emotional,and a fun ride all the way though,the picture on the blu-ray and dvd versions are sharper and smoother than at the movies,and the discs are in a cool design. the extras themselves are pretty cool,one feature tells you more about how the adapted the original marvel manga to the movie,the deleted scenes are pretty neat despite only four deleted scenes. and the other extra content (including the Easter egg feature that you have to find as an Easter egg) a great movie,a great product,lots of cool bonuses and special features. and 150 DMR points. the exclusive best buy holographic cover is a nice touch,adds a nice flair and worth keeping the cover. product gets an 5/5 starts. my only bad comment is i wish they had some sort of audio commentary for the film. would of been cool to get more insight on the film process.

I had to see before Kingdom Hearts III..... love it!!

I had mixed feelings about seeing Big Hero 6. The trailers actually gave this film no justice. I had no intention on seeing this until I got recommendations from both my sister and my friend. Both told me they enjoyed this as much as their kids, both kids are girls as well. So this film is not just for boys which is good. The film is about Hiro, a 14 year old genius who decides to pick up on his brother's project where is brother left off before tragically dying in a fire. Hiro works with his brother's former colleagues and friends to create a team of superheroes to uncover the mystery of Hiro's brother death and to bring perpetrator to justice. The film is filled with action packed scenes and heart felt moments that the entire family will enjoy. There is a reason this film won The Oscar for best animated film. Definitely recommended for anyone and everyone.

"Big Hero 6" starts a bit clunky with too much expository dialogue, but once the central focus of the main character Hiro and his rotund healthcare-delivering service bot Baymax is firmly established, the film really takes off. The best thing going for this film is that Baymax is a great character and an interesting twist to the superhero genre. His mission is to heal, not destroy. Hiro outfits Baymax with some slick armor and technology to make him a crime-fighting superhero machine, but Baymax goes along with this plan only because he sees it as a way to help Hiro get through his grief over the recent death of his brother. The film builds upon a somewhat standard superhero plot with these interesting character touches and makes a moving story about grief and loss.

In theaters, this movie blew me away. I loved every moment of it and it captured my imagination like very few movies can these days. I can totally see more kids becoming interested in science and robotics after watching this movie. It's great to see a superhero movie where the superpower is being smart and creative. As far as the home release goes, my 3 year old son adores it, and has watched it about a dozen times in the first week of having it. I actually had it reserved somewhere else, but bought it at Best Buy for the lenticular cover. I like it much better than the standard cover and I don't collect steelbooks (Target's exclusive). If you haven't figured it out by now, let me finish by plainly saying: I highly recommend this movie.

I can't recommend this movie enough. Marvel and Disney wrapped their minds around these obscure comic book concepts and breathed new life into them. Considering one isn't even alive, that's saying something. I see and hear fist bumps followed by *balalalala* rather consistently. These fist bumps also include my daughters. I expect children and adults will be running around as these characters come Halloween. And let's be honest, they already are at the comicons. All that said, my whole family adores the movie. It gets rewatched about once a week. It's a wonderful story safe for all ages. Yeah, there's a bad guy... And yeah, he's a bit scary... So you have to decide about your little ones.

I've been a Pixar fan for years, with my two favorite animated films being Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles... Now Big Hero 6 ranks up there right alongside them- I'm not familiar with the Marvel comic, but the world-building and character design is pretty amazing. And while the story is rather simple, the emphasis on science and creative solutions gave the movie a refreshing take when the "required" action finale finally arrives... You also care about the two main characters, and that's rather unique these days. I have been recommending this move to all my friends since seeing it in the theater, and am pleased to finally add it to my Blu-ray collection.

My 8 and 10 year old saw this movie when it was in the theater and LOVED it, so when it came out on Blu-Ray/DVD, we had to get it! When Mom and Dad finally got to sit down and watch it with them, we enjoyed it just as much as they did. Great heart, great action, awesome cameo by Stan Lee... good stuff! The characters were all great (Baymax was hysterical). Due to the action and the villain, I would not recommend this for children younger than 6 (unless there are used to seeing that kind of tension). We loved this movie! And if you look carefully enough (and can pause the movie in the right place), you may catch a glimpse of Olaf from Frozen!!
