I upgraded this movie from bluray just to see the added detail in scenes with the tiny micro-bots. I was not disappointed.

This movie is great. It's loved by our entire family. Thank you Disney for skipping the Jr. High smut humor and keeping this one fully family friendly. Disney gets the combo pack right with this one as it contains the expected and unexpected. As you'd expect, the pack contains both blu-ray and DVD discs. It also contains a code for a digital copy. Where this moves to the unexpected is if you sign up for the Disney Movies Anywhere program. If you do, you not only can link your copy to an Ultrviolet account but also to your iTunes account. This means that no matter the device, or app, you'll have full access to your movie.

These animated movies look very good on blu-ray, but the 4k really brings out the colors. Worthy upgrade.

It is always a pleasant surprise when a movie company can take something from an original source and improve on it. That is the case here. Disney Co. took Marvel comic's Big Hero 6 and made it better. Even the Marvel Entertainment folks admitted this. It has action, inventive imagination, good characters, heartbreak, joy, laughter, problem solving, good morals, and a chance to see again at how different people process grief - and what counts the most in life - even at the expense of self-sacrifice. Yes Baymax, I am very satisfied with your service.

Ok so let me begin by saying like a lot of fathers, I am not a huge fan of Disney (and that's especially true because of a certain movie that just won't go away). This was not that type of movie. There was NO singing whatsoever and the storyline was great. It wasn't too long (but also not too short that you couldn't identify with each of the main characters). The big thing is that it kept and keeps both of my daughters entertained and happy and that is the most important criteria for any movie. Also, there's a stargate in it, so that's pretty cool.

When this movie came out I didn't pay much attention to it, the previews did not make me very interested. My daughter wanted to go see it so me, my mom, and daughter went. I wasnt expecting much from it and was very surprised! This movie was entertaining, funny, and so cute. It has one of the best characters in a kids movie. It's got a good plot and some lessons to be learned as well like most movies. You won't be disappointed, give it a shot. Definitely worth owning to replay for yourselves and those that haven't seen it. Such a fun movie.

Different movie but good.. pop some corn and get the family together for this movie night!

This is an amazing movie story wise that is complimented by an amazing 4k edition, I only bought it initially because it was on sale at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic but trust me when I say it is worth a buy. The visuals are gorgeous and it makes a movie feel like it was just released a year or two ago. Knowing how gorgeous it is I would have paid full price if I had to

Now don't get thrown by the strange appearance of Baymax, the personal companion robot that is at the heart of this movie. And heart is what this movie has plenty of, along with action, comedy, and some odd-ball characters. Take for instance our hero Hiro, a shy but lovable robotics prodigy. When Hiro's invention gets into the wrong hands and then a little out of hand, he and his friends, assisted by Baymax, work to set things aright. A truly entertaining film that deserves its Best Animated Film Oscar.

TONS of heart, but it doesn't drown you in emotion. LOTS of action, but it doesn't go over the top. a SOLID amount of humor that makes you LOL at times. The best part? NO musical numbers! Although I would still put Wreck It Ralph ahead of this one on my favorites list, this is a solid movie that is very enjoyable. My 2 1/2 yr old son loved it and wants to watch it all the time. This one may actually last a couple months before I finally get so sick of it (Frozen) that I "accidentally" scratch up the disc!

This is a great animated story and works well on Blu-Ray DVD. The extra features really do a great job expanding the story in the movie by showing more about the relationship between Tadashi and Hiro through alternate beginnings and footage that had to be cut, They also go into the backgrounds of the writers and animators so anyone interested in making animated movies as a career can see where these folks got their start. I love this DVD set!

Most people won't be familiar with Big Hero 6's source material, but that's okay. The Disney take is more cohesive, family friendly and enjoyable. There are some dark plot elements and the standard family loss to help drive the narrative. Ultimately the movie compares two different methods of dealing with loss, showing the repercussions of those decisions. The movie would have benefited had they avoided cramming in the Fall Out Boy song, which adds nothing. Overall, this is well worth owning.

I personally think this might be Disney's best CG movie. It's one of my favorites anyways. The graphics look amazing, the story is great, and there's plenty of comedy. Plus, there's plenty to like if you're into superheroes. The special features are worth it, especially if you're as big a fan of animation as I am. It has deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes stuff, and the short "Feast" that was shown before the movie in theaters. Overall, it's an excellent movie and great experience on Blu-ray.

Phenomenal movie, kind of high priced for a movie that has been out for awhile.

This was the first movie my wife and I took our kids to watch at the theater. At first we were apprehensive in taking them because we were not sure if the movie would keep them focused while in the theater (since it was the first time). The plot was excellent. It keep the kids focused the entire time, funny scenes. The dialog was appropriate for younger audiences (unlike watching SpongeBob on TV). It's great to be able to add this to our collection of movies for the kids at home.

This movie won the academy award for best animated film of the year. How this was accomplished is beyond me! Don't get me wrong, I like this movie a lot. There are certainly some very touching moments and the animation looks top-notch for the most part. However, there are also some serious flaws which I cannot overlook. The first goal of all motion pictures is to have a good story! The film makers forgot this rule and conceived a plot that is hard to follow for an adult film, let alone a child's film. And as usual, the animators overloaded the visuals with unnecessary non-stop action. The scenes with the "bad microbot army" morphing into various shapes are drab and not pleasing to the eye. However, the movie does manage to evoke emotion and heart. You will find yourself cheering, laughing, and crying at Baymax...a white blob with only two eyes! So, overall, this is actually a B+ effort from Disney. If you are looking for the best animated picture of the year, consider "How to Train Your Dragon 2," a rare sequel that is actually better than the first!

My kids love watching this movie and they don't get tired of it! Disney has come a long way and hit it out of the park with Big Hero 6. I love the brotherly love and friendships made in the movie. And this movie shows you that you can be powerful and make a difference regardless of your ethnicity, shape, or size! And can I say bravo for having strong female heroines too! As a mother of 3 girls, I love showing them that they can have a voice and can make a difference!

This movie has good lessons of what happens when we make poor chooses.

“Big Hero 6” is an exciting, action-packed adventure with plenty of heart that both kids and adults alike will find entertaining. True, it falls back on the action a little too much in spots, but there’s more than enough to make up for that with its emotional punches and memorable characters. We always expect high-quality entertainment from Disney, and their latest outing is certainly no exception. We can only hope that a fun-filled sequel will follow in the next few years.

This is such a great family Pixar movie! The video quality and audio quality in this 4K release are too notch. Such a fun story with amazing audio and visuals! The story is fun and cute and even brought a tear to me eye I would highly recommend this addition to your collection or for any movie lover. This really shook the house in my home theater room and it can yours!
