I bought this primarily for the nostalgic aspect. John Carpenter is a very imaginative individual. In fact, if you look at the diversity of some of his films you may be very surprised that the same man created them.

Saw it in the theater when it came out way back when. Had it on VHS but when I saw it on blu ray I had to have it.

A cult-classic movie that should be seen at least once. The price was great on the blu-ray version, so it was a no-brainer.

For non-stop action and entertainment, you can't beat this movie. There is no way any of it could happen in this world, and probably not in the next one, but it's so much fun that we just suspend belief and go along for the ride.

This film is a classic, and the fact it is now in HD is the icing on the cake. Kurt Russell really makes this film. Enjoy

This movie was not what I expected. I am glad I stumbled upon it back in the day on VHS, as it is an amazingly action packed sci-fi adventure. Kung-fu, magic, guns. Great combination. And Kurt Russell's character: Jack was excellent.

Awesome movie and special features. And the packaging for this movie is beautiful.

I purchased this for my husband and he loves it. He's probably owned it on DVD but really likes the quality of the blue ray.
