    This film will have you holding your side with laughter and swooning with envy at Jack Burton's seemingly unwavering demeanor. Finding himself in the wrong part of San Francisco Chinatown after a long night of gambling, Jack Burton must escort his gambling pal and restaurant owner, Wang, to go retrieve a double or nothing bet that Wang lost at the end of the session. An annoying errand soon turns into a trip through ancient Chinese mythology and current tradition as the two struggle in the Jurassic streets between warring gangs. When the agenda of a Chinese sorcerer involves the love interest of Wang, he pleads with his resourceful friend, Jack Burton, to help rescue her from the evil ceremonies of the criminal underworld. Jack Burton just wants his money, but soon finds reason and intrigue to become a part of a realm in which he obviously does not belong.
