If you were a child of the 80's and 90's, then Kurt Russell was apart of your life in some way. Whether as Snake Plisskin or Captain Ron or as Jack Burton. Big Trouble In Little China is one of those B-movies that you just need to have in your collection. Is the plot kind of dumb? Yes. Are the special effects a bit wonky? Yes. But when Kurt Russell and John Carpenter team up, you know that you're in for a good time and BTILC is one of the fan-favorite roles of Kurt Russell's career. What makes this movie worth the purchase is the special features, most noteably the commentary with Carpenter and Russell. Such a fun movie to watch and a must have for all collectors.

Big Trouble in Little China [Blu-ray] [1986] A good Kurt Russell film. Has the cult classic feel.

Fun fantasy movie with lightning bolts, martial arts, guns and women. All bases covered.

I enjoyed the movie. This blu-ray comes with interviews, featurettes, and an extended ending.

Being a fan of Kurt Russell for many years, I eagerly awaited this one to get a steelbook and upgrade. This is Shout Factory's version as 20th Century Fox never released a steelbook version that I know of as of this writing. The graphic artwork is fabulous throughout and we get 2 Blu-ray discs with some great new Special Features. The features are better than the previous 20th releases. The movie and sound are outstanding on the 4K player and TV. If you are a fan of this movie and a steelbook collector, I highly recommend this one.

Great classic movie. A must have for any action adventure movie fan.

"Yessir, the check is in the mail." - Don't hesitate to put the check in the mail for this masterpiece!

Picked this up on sale for only a few bucks. Classic from the 80's.

Got recommended this by a coworker and picked it up from the bargain bin. It's a good movie, but I'm still not quite sure how to describe it. I'll have to watch it again. Part action film, part fantasy film, part comedy film, part martial arts film.... For a more accurate description, a trucker and his buddy head to the airport to pick up buddy's wife. She gets abducted by a local gang, the two men head into Chinatown to save her and then the zombie sorcerer shows up. No, really.

This is a cult classic. A great combination of cheesiness and fun.

My brother loves this movie and it always takes us back to when we watched it as kids. Directed by John Carpenter starring Kurt Russell and a bunch of the 80s martial arts film stars. Has visual effects that tie in with the mystic story some "weird stuff" going down in Chinatown. Some good martial arts choreography in the film, good and funny acting, action and just some good 80s actors that you will recognize. "We got biiigggggg trouble in Chinatownnnnnn"

Big Trouble in Little China is a Great movie ! Lots of Laughs

One of the quintessential 80’s movies. I’m a huge fan of Kurt Russell and John Carpenter, but honestly didn’t enjoy this movie as much as I thought I would. Still essential viewing for anyone who enjoys 80’s pop culture.

An old movie yet it still is entertaining!! Excellent acting!

If you're looking for a quick laugh, look no further!

If you haven't seen 'Big Trouble in Little China', you owe it to yourself to own it, NOW. If you know it, love it (as you well should), get the Blu Ray and you'll be riding the Porkchop Express to the best picture and sound quality this movie has ever seen.

This off the wall film would probably have been forgotten today if not for the cachet of John Carpenter and his unique ability to pull off something this crazy with panache and good humor. Add to the mix stand up guy Kurt Russell and you’ve got one heck of a movie movie. The entire supporting cast is great, the effects work holds up for what it has to do. Makes you really wish Carpenter and Russell had done more films together. And oh yeah, this blu-ray looks great!
