If you like Kurt Russell, especially when he is less than serious, buy this movie! This magical, mystical, martial arts and modern action-comedy mash-up is a retro cult-classic. There is plenty of outrageous action mixed with campy and sarcastic humor. The special effects can appear dated compared to modern cgi, but add to the entertainment and unique visual style. I noticed this Blu-ray while I was waiting inline to check-out at my local Best Buy... Complete IMPULSE buy-Great value for $5!

I searched for 7 years for this movie on DVD. I called the Dayton mall store and they informed me that they had it, but it was in the DVD bin. I thought the odds were slim to none. As I was looking through the bin an employee informed me that he remembered a guy calling for a particular movie and he placed it at customer service for me. I appreciate the above and beyond attitude!!!

I was skeptical about the film quality on blu ray because on Starship Troopers blu ray, there was heavy film grain which sort of distracted from the movie but was not a big deal! Big Trouble in Little China blew me away! Crystal clear graphics and still lives up to be a top notch action movie to this day! Highly recommended, especially at $4.99!

All aboard the pork chop express for a very unreasonable chain of events! Now I’m a reasonable man but this movie is for all kinds of people. Earthquakes, poison arrows falling from the sky, the pillars of heaven shaking, well don’t let that stop you from going and buying this movie!! So haul over to your B.B. and whip out that credit card anyway it’s all in the reflexes.

Big Trouble In Little China is a guilty pleasure, but it still cracks me up. Kurt Russell plays it for laughs and there is a reason you'll find a million clips of this movie on Youtube. You might want to check out a few before buying if you've never seen this movie before.

I love this wild, weird, and wacky movie! When you get director John Carpenter and actor Kurt Russell together, magic happens. This film's got it all; action, humor, sci-fi, and a lot of heart. No lie, how great is Kurt Russell doing his best John Wayne impersonation? Very glad to have this movie on Blu-ray.

This movie is definitely overdue for a fancy, all-in collector’s edition... but this will do for now. Audio and video are solid. Not a whole lot of features but hopefully we’ll see a better release from Arrow or Scream Factory in the future. As for the movie itself, it’s obviously 5 stars. This disc usually runs under 10 bucks so you really can’t go wrong.

This was my favorite movie growing up and it's still in my top 3. I tell people it's like a kung-fu version of the Goonies. It's got a great picture on blue ray and some awesome extras to boot. I've got my fingers crossed they release it on 4k at some point so I can buy it again.

Enjoyed getting this with the new slip cover. Basic but interesting. And different then the actual cover on the blu case.

A great action comedy that is nothing but pure fun! This is a movie that will tug at the nostalgia feels for great entertainment when Hollywood puts out nothing but garbage these days this film will help you forget the crummy times we are living in.

I am a big fan of 80's movie that would have no chance of getting made today, and this little gem is at the top of my list. My wife hates it, my kids don't get it, and I don't care. Triad gangs, monsters, and Kurt Russel. What else could a kid of the 80's ask for?

I have loved this movie since child hood. definitely some cheesy scenes in this day a and tine but still a classic. Was happy to find this on blu ray especially for budget price. orderd online and recieved pretty quickly.

I absolutely love this movie and was so happy to see it available on Blu-ray especially with the beautiful slipcover art that Best Buy had it available in. The price was amazing and the quality of the Blu-ray disc was superb for such an older film ...for fans of this movie I cannot recommend it more highly

If you love martial arts, John Carpenter, Kurt Russell, Kim Catrall, or the 80's in general, this is for you! An all time classic from John Carpenter for only around $8 with great picture quality, special features, it's a great buy! There are better editions of the film out there but they are far more expensive & harder to find. Pick this one up!

I really enjoy Big trouble in little china. I remember watching it as a kid and try to catch it the very few times it's on tv. A nice lazy afternoon movie. I also really like the over the top bad guys with special powers. Would watch again.

This is a very old movie. If your old enough you will remember it. I have not seen this one in a long time, the price was right. It was back ordered on line. They were going to cancel my order, after getting an email to call to update the order, I told them that I still wanted the movie. They said I might not get it. It came in the mail to my surprise.

This movie holds up so well on repeat viewings. It has wild action, great humor and a terrific lead performance by Kurt Russell. The Blu-ray image is very good with some expected grain and the audio is good as well. Even if you've seen the movie in the past, you'll always enjoy it when you watch it again.

If you’ve never seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and watch it. I grew up watching this movie as a kid with my dad, so when I saw the steelbook was available, I knew I had to get him a copy so we could enjoy it again like the good ‘ol days.

An odder entry in John Carpenter’s filmography Big Trouble is the 3rd collaboration with him and Kurt Russell and you can feel the friendship between them. This film is a fun throwback to the action serials of old much like Raiders of the Lost Ark and is just as entertaining. The Blu-ray transfer looks amazing even it does mean some of the older effects show their age. Also, if you’re a fan of audio commentaries the one between Carpenter and Russell is a blast.

Yes, sir the check is in the mail. Found this for $6 at my local best buy, and I had to wipe my eyes and take a double take. Came with the slipcover and everything. Super tight 1080p transfer. Best $6 I ever spent. The only thing that could be better would be a six demon bag...maybe.
