This movie is insanely fun and instantly quotable! It’s easily one of director John Carpenter’s best films known for its campy fun and off-the-wall story. Kurt Russell is great as Jack Burton and Dennis Dun is great as the film’s real hero Wang Chi.

Never saw it as a kid growing up. My friends talked it up like I was really missing out on something. I don't get it. This fell flat for me.

This is an oldie but a classic action comedy. Kurt Russell and John Carpenter. Martial arts fans will recognize a few stars as well. This is the Blue Ray version, but quality is the same as the DVD, I did not notice any upgrade. The upgrade that is there is all the bonus material is now on one disc, but I had hoped for a picture upgrade as well. However, very nice price.

This film was on sale, and I couldn't resist the temptation of getting it for my collection. It's a John Carpenter film, and it brought back memories of how I stumbled upon this movie by accident way back in the...80's? Well it was a fun surprise, and I get to relive the adventure in HD!

The check's in the mail. Excellent fun movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. Kurt Russell is great in this film and my only complain is that it is too short, should have been 5 hours long.

Big Trouble in Little China is a hoot! The movie is designed as a spoof on "tough guys", for Kurt Russel plays a Totally Macho Trucker. He is hilarious, though everything he does is "serious" in the movie. A cult classic.

It was brought up the other day that "Big Trouble In Little China" came out 30 years ago on that day. I realized that I hadn't seen the movie in a few years, but I knew that I needed to watch it again. I went out that same day and picked it up to watch Jack Burton's adventure in Chinatown.

Top notch blu ray treatment of one of my favorite (admittedly silly) films of the '80s. If you've never checked out the exploits of Kurt Russell as "hero" Jack Burton - give it a spin. Great extras, and the transfer/compression is really good. The film looks better than it has since I saw it in the theater.

One of my guilty pleasures, remember going to see this in the theater and taking friends to go see it. Then when my children were older showing it to them and now they own in. Finding it for $5 was just a delight.

This is a great laptop, very robust! I'm not a gamer, but am hard on laptops with being a data hoarder. I have a friend who researched and said this would be the best laptop for me, so I bought it. So far it's awesome, but if you are looking to use it as a work laptop and transport it a lot, it's extremely heavy and the power cord is 4X the size of my other 17" laptop, so be warned. Otherwise, it's super cool and has a keyboard that lights up!

A perfect blend of action and humor. Kurt Russell is hilarious. I love the martial arts fight sequences and the special effects are pretty good for the time. I had the dvd and am so glad to upgrade it to Blu Ray.

Take a ride on the Pork Chop Express!!!! My favorite John Carpenter film. This is such a hilarious flick. Kurt Russel, Kim Cattral, and a few other faces you will recognize Im sure. A great movie, I will watch it over and over.

BTILC is one of those movies in my classic vault. It is still timeless and fun to watch. Blu-ray quality looks decent; only wish it had contained a digital copy but it didn't. After watching the bluray, I went out and ordered my Wing Kong Trading Co. t-shirt!

This is one of my favorite 80's movies. This movie has great dialogue, story development, and action sequences. Much better than most of the movies they make today. No need for a reboot or a remake. Just watch the original.

I love this movie, and the smart talking bad boy character "Jack Burton" that Kurt Russell plays. This movie is action packed with Chinese black magic, Kung-Fu fighting as well as comedy.

Great BluRay... Great Movie! It wasn't as good at renting a movie from Netflix and chillin' (*Giggity* *Giggity*); however, when I saw this movie, I was delightfully surprised that the same result occurred after bringing a girl over to watch Netlfix and chill. So, there's that, yo!

I’ve been meaning to buy this movie for years...I’ve already probably seen it at least 20+ times and now that I own it, I’ll see it at least another 20. Yes, it’s very cheesy but it is so much fun. =)

John Carpenter teams up again with Kurt Russell for another fun 80's movie. Best Buy had this Blu-ray at a great price, so I couldn't pass it up, very happy with my purchase.

John Carpenter and Kurt Russell firing on all cylinders! The world would be a better, and much more fun place, if we still made movies like this.

A good action movie with Kurt Russell. If you like the supernatural, you'll enjoy this movie. I love this movie today as much as I did when it first came out in the 1980s!
