This camera is a game-changer for bird enthusiasts. The image quality is truly impressive, and the AI bird recognition feature is super fun! I also love that it’s self-sustaining with its own power source, which is a big plus. While the installation took a bit of patience, it wasn’t too difficult to manage. Setting up the app was simple, though I had to try four times before my phone and the camera connected smoothly to my WiFi. But once everything was up and running, it worked like a charm! I even shared access with a couple of family members so they could join in on the bird-watching fun, and they absolutely loved it. The camera is mounted on a tree in my backyard, facing the house, and it looks adorable—even when there are no birds around! Although the price is on the higher side, I highly recommend this to any bird lover. It’s a delightful way to enjoy nature and share the experience with others!

This was very easy to set up, I did so in minutes. It includes several options for mounting, I choose to strap it to a tree. The app is user-friendly and the camera is impressive with a wide angle. It's very easy to fill with seed and is made of a sturdy plastic. A big drawback for me is that it is not squirrel proof in any way. I'm going to need to get creative because the seed is in a tray and it's too easy for other critters to access, including a racoon. I like the way the app notifies me when there is activity and have enjoyed watching wildlife from afar. The app gives the option to turn on a light, has a siren sound to scare away unwanted feeders and even a mic. It is easy to take a screenshot and record from the app as well.

I love this thing. It’s super easy to assemble and comes with multiple different mounting options from screws to included straps to attach to trees or poles. The included solar charging panel makes it even better. I never have to worry about removing a battery pack to charge. The app is very user friendly and camera quality is better than expected.I can’t wait to check out my visitors on the camera!

What a great idea! I ordered this as a gift for my parents and they love it! It was easy to install and when I misunderstood how to get the camera hooked up, they had real people providing quick customer service via chat. (Tip: download the Birdify app and install it and connect it all to your primary phone or iPad BEFORE you hang it. :) The app and camera connection is very secure using a QR code on the side of the camera and then a QR code displayed on your phone/tablet. It's nice to know that it would be very difficult for someone else to somehow gain access to your camera. My parent are delighted by the interface and the AI bird identification. They keep sending me screenshots. It feels like the best gift we've given them in years. Highly recommend.

It seems like it will be a wonderful product but for some reason I have not had a bird or a squirrel try to use it yet. It was easy to put together and the app helps get things set up quickly. I had to purchase an SD card that I did not see until after the product arrived but that was simple enough.

I’ve been looking for a smart bird feeder and this one has everything I wanted! Super easy to set up, the camera is high quality, and it has a great app. It took the birds a few days to adapt to having this feeder around but after they did, I’ve been enjoying watching them feed on the camera! I’d absolutely recommend this smart feeder to anyone who enjoys bird watching.

Great product, works just as described! I was so happy with my first feeder from BIRDFY I bought another one from them. Camera works great and birds love the feeder. I would recommend buying the feeder with lifetime AI and solar powered. Multiple options for installation surfaces is very helpful and are included. Camera works great and can have multiple phones connected. Holds up fine in winter. Works fine with night vision and has a siren to scare away unwanted visitors (squirrels, etc).

The feeder is super east to get set up and getting it to connect to the app isn’t bad at all. As someone who isn’t a seasoned bird watcher, the fact that it will tell me what type of bird is there is super cool, and I love that you can see other videos from other peoples cameras in the app too!

I have been looking for something to keep my cats entertained and when I stumbled upon this i had to get it right away! I was very impressed at the many options to instal, and ended up using the metal zip tye type things on the patio. I love that i did not actually have to drill any holes! However, when i evidently move, there are handy peices of paper you can line up on your deck that show you exactly where to drill! This birdfeeder keeps my cats and me entertained and the app has become something i constantly check while I am at work! I also love the solar pannel and was suprised at how easy it was to instal!

Works great! Have all sorts of great pictures of birds! It even has AI camera which identifies the types of birds.

This is my second Birdfy feeder. I have enjoyed the first one so much that I decided to purchase another one so I can vary the seed mix to see what I can attract. Pro's: excellent resolution, you can zoom in on the video and still shots to see intricate clear details of minute feathers and even bird tongues! Crisp sound even on a windy day to listen to their songs and chirps. self-powering system always fully charged with the solar panels, watch live to see more than 20 second recordings, easy to download video and still shots, it has a speaker and an alarm so you can deter larger birds, easy to fill by tilting the roof, you can identify birds you wish to have notifications sent to your smart device, it has very good AI recognition and I have been able to distinguish more birds that I didn't know frequented this area, it tallies the total birds at the feeder throughput the day and also by type of bird so if yyou want to see videos of that Red-Bellied Woodpecker, you can tap on the header and it will organize the vieos to bring those to the top of your daily videos. You can also look at a calendar for I believe is a month of history and click on a date to recall all of those videos for that date. At the end of December, Birdfy sent to me an email that tallied the number of birds I have had at my feeder. In four months, I had over 12,000 birds! You can also set the time interval between recordings. I set mine at a few seconds, even without it video recoroding the birds , in between your set time interval, it will still tally the birds at the feeder. The camera has a wide angle and is adjustable to tilt and rotate, since it is motion activated, it also will record unwelcome animals such as deer and raccoons as well as people so it serves a dual purpose as an outdoor security camera. Con's the ONLY thing that I have not found to be useful is the bird guard cage. It fits on easily and is a good quality construction, but the design isn't efficient. I am trying to keep Grackles and Brown-Headed Cowbirds from hogging the feeder but the cage fits right up to the feeder tray so the Grackles easily put their heads in and eat and the Cowbirds although being a relatively large bird, easily fit through the openings. The only bird species it has deterred is the cardinal which is skiddish and doesn't like going inside so I had to take the guard down.

This is the fourth feeder I've purchased from this company. I will be owning two of these, one Feeder 2 Pro and the Hummingbird Duo. They make quality products and are constantly innovating. I cannot say enough great things about them. This particular feeder has a single camera of good quality. It is easy to set up, to add food to and to clean. The solar panel attachment makes it nearly worry free and works great. If you so desire, there are also a lot of accessories to add to this. The seed feeder bring a lot of songbirds to my yard, like sparrows and finches, but adding the suet ball accessory, I get wrens and warblers also! Then the hummingbird flower even brings those little guys. All to the same camera! This is not even talking about the software that you connect every feeder to. It is easy to connect to and works great! You can check in to a live feed anytime you want and record to your phone if you see something special. The motion sensor captures anything that moves in your camera's visage and automatically records 20-30 second clips of what moved, which can be a problem if you have it near branches and trees that move in the wind. Paired with their AI software though it can recognize and identify different birds to a pretty good accuracy. You can then instruct the software to notify you when a bird is actually present. More than that, if there are an abundance of a particular type of bird, you can curate the notifications to NOT notify you of that particular bird and it all works amazingly well. The best part is, they are constantly adding features and abilities to the software. Currently they are working on a Desktop portal, so you can access your feeders and saved clips from a home PC. This is unique to this company as far as I know. They are also working on adding slo-mo abilities to feeders that are already released. Like I said, I feel very confident in investing in these feeders, since they are already a great value and they are constantly adding more!

This is the third feeder I've bought from this company. I cannot say enough good things about them, as they are constantly coming out with new and innovative feeders. The feeders are well built easy to install and are trouble free with the attached solar panel. They have multiple types of feeders of varying abilities. This particular feeder has a single camera with pretty great video quality. There are accessories for it also that work extremely well at attracting other types of birds. I get songbirds with the seed portion of this feeder, but the suet ball attachment attracts warblers and wrens also. The single humming bird flower that is an accessory to this feeder brings humming birds to the same camera! Easy to add food. Easy to clean. All this is without even talking about the software that connects to all their feeders. As innovative and continually bring new feeders to the market, they are just as great with the software. The software is fully featured. You can log in to watch the feeders live. You can record clips of the live feed. The motion sensor captures clips every time it senses motion and the AI software does a great job of identifying the birds, if there were any. Then you have the option of selecting which birds to notify you of, or if there are tons of the same type of birds that always frequent your feeder, to curate those out of your notifications. And like I said, they are constantly innovating and bringing new features to this software just like the feeders themselves. Currently they are working to implement a desktop log in portal where you can access your feeders from a home PC. This is unique to this company. They are also working to update certain of the feeders cameras to allow for also motion recordings. I feel very confident investing in these feeders since they are already a great value and it seems it will just keep increasing in value.

The Birdfy camera feeder is such a joy. I'm so excited every time I get an app notification that a rare bird has visited. I never have to worry about missing another bird visitor again! The build quality of the feeder itself is solid and has stood up to the heat and cold well. The AI detection is pretty good. Occasionally it will get things wrong, but you can submit a correction which helps improve the AI. My feeder has been visited my over 30 different bird species since I installed it, even owls! Setup and installation is straightforward. Wifi connectivity can be spotty at times, particularly during intial setup, so it's best to position it as close as possible to your house and near/through a window for the wifi signal to reach. The only real cons I've found are the app doesn't have a notification feature when your SD card is almost full, which would be nice so I could pull it to save the photos before it auto-overwrites the oldest ones and also during very cold spells during the winter (less than 20 degrees F, sometimes as cold as 0 degrees F where I live in Ohio) the camera is unable to charge and tends to lose battery quickly, regardless if solar charging or plugged into a dedicated USB C charging cable.

Absolutely LOVE this product! Purchased a second one as a gift for my parents for Christmas. The easy use and convenience of the app are at your fingertips at all times. The AI is very reliable in correctly identifying birds and even squirrels. There is a correction if you notice an error in the identification process. The squirrels (or other small animals that may visit) can be scared away with the sound option or white light. My children enjoy watching the live feed! We find ourselves filling the feeder about every 36 hours due to the high demand by the birds! A must have for any bird lover!

This smart bird feeder checks almost all the boxes I would want. It has a USB C charger to initially charge it up, but also comes with a solar panel that does a solid job of keeping it charged. I wish the camera were higher resolution, but it still gets the job done. The Android app is functional and while it has some rough edges, I was able to connect and log in, view the visitors to my feeder, and even highlight videos or images that I want to save for posterity. It also gives you the ability to view other videos from the community which is pretty fun. The AI identification is typically pretty good, though there have been some instances where my own limited knowledge of birds was enough to realize it had misclassified some birds. I hope this will improve over time. The wifi seems to work well, as this is in the far back part of my yard but still reaches my router without any issues.

Birdfy does it better. This is our 2nd Birdfy feeder, and we're still just as blown away. The solar panel means we NEVER have to worry about power to the device, and we can set notifications so we're instantly alerted to any animal, bird, squirrel, even Raccoon, that stops by to eat at our feeder. Absolutely love the use of AI to help take the guesswork out of which bird it is. If you are a bird lover, this is a 100% no-brainer. Buy it.

If you love birds, do yourself a favor and get one of these cameras. Set up was fairly simple and quick, and the app seems to work very well. Having the solar power makes it nice so you do not have to worry with battery charging. Image quality is nice too. Filling up the feeder with food is very easy and the materials feel very sturdy. The birds immediately found the new feeder and never looked back! I am going to order a mount for it so I can move it around in my yard. It does come with a few options but getting a mount seems like a good option for me. I can't wait to see the variety of birds when the weather warms up.
