I think there were probably better Best Picture contenders this year, but it certainly was a unique movie.

This was my favorite movie of 2014. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys movies that have something to say and make you listen to the dialogue rather than watch a bunch of things get blown up.

Batman has done it again . This time as a Bird Man should I say Michael Keaton. Amazing acting as always. Movie was so surreal interns of the lives behind the scene of BroadwY Shows.

Inarritu's barbed valentine to Hollywood. Must see for the movie lover, may be a mystery to the uninitiated. Certainly a happier ending than was met by the George Reeves prototype.

This movie was worth every minute. I especially loved how it felt like it was shot in one take. I mean, how is that even possible?! It was like watching a Play in a Play . Playception? ?

Michael Keaton and the rest of the cast of Birdman give stellar performances. The camera work, editing, and soundtrack all give the film a frenzied fast paced tempo that begs to be seen by all.

I liked the story, the characters, the actors that brought them to life,the cinematography, etc.... The very ending though may not be satisfying for some. Got it on sale and would recommend it.

I like the acting, the actors we're awesome. I got a chance to see in theaters but now I get to own it!

I believe only the Blu-Ray has the making of documentary, Michael Keaton interview and audio commentary. Michael Keaton's come back movie of 2014, nicely done with dark humor and great story.

Wonderfully unique film that deserved its Best Film win at the Oscars. Definitely captures the zeitgeist of the time period with its satirical look at celebrity in our modern, connected world.

Birdman is so true to life then goes almost batty. Very different, but also very interesting film.

A crazy film with a solid cast and a truly bizarre story. Keaton was perfect.

I'm not a big fan of most of Innaritu's catalog...but Birdman is genius. It's a technical marvel, sure, but the propulsive score and powerhouse performances make it truly special

"Birdman" is worth a look, though you may be surprised that such a gimmicky undertaking won the Best Picture Oscar. Michael Keaton is pretty good, though never really believable as a former superhero star. Edward Norton is less irritating than usual. It's fun to watch the nearly unbroken camera movement, but that's about it for excitement.

Really different take on following the various characters throughout the theater - Michael Keaton was fabulous and Ed Norton delivered. This movie produced a lot of dialog after viewing.

Movie has great actors who dive deep into their emotional hand bag and deliver an awesome performance

Birdman was a very innovative movie with excellent acting throughout. It was one of my top movies for the year and I felt the academy Award for best movie was between birdman and Boyhood.

the best thing about this movie is the way it was filmed and how the camera follows the characters.

finally a movie that lets actors act!! the music, the acting, the cinematography were all awesome. Definitely recommend this film to someone who wants to see a fresh and captivating one.

While I really enjoyed this movie and the actors were great, it was rather artsy and a bit strange.
