It does the job. In order to prevent oder, you will need to run a cycle of soapy water and wash the components after each use.

The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because it’s kinda difficult to clean and since it’s older, replacement parts are hard to find. Just upgraded to the steam clean one when this one kicked the bucket and I’m in love with it!

Clean up a sofa my dog slobbered on. It is easy to fill and operate. The emptying is a little awkward because you have to tilt sideways, which is counterintuitive to pouring things out, but stains are gone.

Our first one was great too, but the handle cracked. It was within the Best Buy warranty time and our store replaced it quickly and with ease.Best Buy is the best place to purchase.
