    This soap is good to use on carpets but on upholstery it appears to be too thick (?). After mixing it and using it in our upright with the wand tool, our couch felt like it had lots of residue on it. We had to run the wand on water only several times to get the soap out of the couch. If you do plan on using this on upholstery be prepared to do several rinsing runs or maybe cut the mix by 25-50%.

    This product is light, but does a thorough job of cleaning carpets, without leaving any film or residue on the carpet fibers. My off white carpets were grey, and I never thought I could get them really clean. However, this product got them back to their original color. They are 14 years old, but look brand new!
