    I bought this to clean my carpets and the first day of use the handle to keep it up right broke. I returned and For the money i webt with something else.

    After purchasing this model, I miss my old Bissell! Unfortunately, after several years it died. This is the 3rd Bissell cleaner we have owned and the prior two were much better. The new model doesn't meet my expectations at all. Cheaper, thinner plastic and a cumbersome method of connecting and using the handheld hose. Half the time, it doesn't connect properly and I get no water from it until I jiggle the connection and hope it doesn't move. The leaking underneath the unit is unbearable and far worse than the old models. I wouldn't purchase it if I had it to do over. Whoever the genius is who made the changes should be looking for a new job.
