We just adopted a new dog and unfortunately our apartment is furnished with high pile carpet. Needless to say, we have already got our money's worth out of this thing. We haven't had any trouble getting stains out so far, even when we don't catch them immediately. One thing I will advise is that you be careful when dumping the dirty water. There is an opening that you're supposed to pour the waste out of, but sometimes when you disconnect the tank from the unit, water escapes from the connecting interface.

This is not a bad little carpet cleaner for small spills, however the sucrion is not the best and you have to let the area dry for about 24 hours

We have a large steam carpet cleaner, but is a problem to take out and use for small spots. This spotclean worked better than I anticipated. I read the mixed reviews. However, it does an excellent job and would recommend it to others.

This cheaner works great at cleaning up spills and the occasional pet mess. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the amount of cleaning solution it sucks up is less than the amount it puts out. I have tried going over the spots many times to dry it better but I can never get the same amount out of the carpet that I put into it. I have to make sure to close doors while the carpet dries so that dirt doesn't stick to the remaining wet spots. I contacted bissel and was told that this is normal fire this machine.

This product is appropriate for the task of cleaning small spots in carpet. It would not be good for large areas. It requires scrubbing with a wand. There is no electric beater bar.

I bought this carpet cleaner after I got a dog. This works really well for cleaning up small pet accidents or sports on the floor. I have used it several times and it gets the space very clean.

Works well on small areas. We live in a 5th wheel so it comes in very handy. Since it is only made for small areas the tank fills up fast so figure on emptying the tank frequently.

Got this to do small patched around the house, worked good on cleaning a car interior and sections on carpet, just really noisy but still great!

We just moved into our new home and there's red dirt/clay all around the property under the new sod. Unfortunately, I tracked in some of that dirt on our new rugs. This little unit saved the day. Easy to use, woks great. We also have a new puppy that was supposed to be potty trained by the time we got into the new house. We weren't in the house 5 minutes when she had her first accident on our new carpets. Glad I had this cleaner! Would recommend!

I used this mainly for quick small applications, worked well to clean couch, vehicle carpet, and small area stains on carpet. Easy to use and clean, auto heats.

This is a great carpet cleaner. The dual brushes are great for differing messes. I have two concerns-the first is the clip that holds the wand seems some what flimsy, I am curious to see how long until is breaks. My other concern is the rubber plugs that are used in two tanks on the cleaner. There must be a better way to be able to empty/fill the tanks. I am concerned about not putting them in correctly and the tanks leaking. So far, so good! Bissell makes a great product!

I have a dog which usually means random spots in the house. I bought the bissel spot cleaner and it has worked fantastically.

There are several different versions of this Bissell cleaner that are marketed to different tasks - I'm not convinced there are any substantial differences among them. I bought this to take care of household accidents from a new puppy. I have a full-sized carpet cleaner but needed something smaller for spot cleaning. I'm very impressed by the flow of the cleaning fluid - and the extraction is strong enough to leave carpets and upholstery barely damp. The unit has two canisters - one for a cleaning fluid and water mix - one for the dirty extraction. The cleaning canister is easy to fill and the extraction canister is easy to empty and clean. The cord is sufficiently long and the hose is long enough to provide adequate freedom of movement. This device is perfect for the limited tasks it is designed for: spot cleaning and upholstery cleaning and freshening. Not worth buying if you don't have a specific need for it - it's not a general purpose cleaner. For what I needed, it worked perfectly and I'm very pleased with the unit.

Worked great for cleaning up spots on our couch. It works so good you need to clean more than a spot because it looks so good.

Tanks are to small for all but the little jobs. Works well and is not near as noisy as my older model.

I use this cleaner to get up small spills and to clean out my car. This cleaner saves me money(don’t have to go to the car wash anymore). Plus it does a great job with cleaning.

It is lightweight and performs as promised. Great price.

An excellent way to clean up spills or pet accidents. Lightweight, easy to use and doesn't require a lot of formula to use. My only wish is that when the hose gets a hole or the brush comes away from the hose, you could get a replacement for it - although duck or electric tape works just fine. It's a 4 star because of that.

I use this to clean the inside of my car. The unit does very well just keep in mind it’s made for spot cleaning.
