In addition to the problem with Bitdefender not using the correct IP address for my MacBook Pro, I am following up withyou to the following situation: After purchasing both accounts, I downloaded the aforementioned apps from the Apple App Store, and the Apps were operational; however, it was not possible to use the VPN option. Some time passed and everything was fine. THEN neither my iPhone nor my iPad Air 2 nor my two iPad Pros would function. I was unable to open most apps. Turning off the device was not a solution. I deleted both Bitdefender apps on all devices and my devices now work properly. Obviously one or both apps caused the devices not to perform properly. Also, the inability to turn off VPN is a problem. It is unfortunate that deleting the Apps is the solution. I have not downloaded the Apps from the Apple App Store for a second time since the Apps failed on 4 devices and on two accounts.
