Even though it's highly rated online as a solid anti-virus, and it does well to prtect from malicious attacks, there is a horrible feature in it that just gives too much power to someone if it falls in the wrong hands. I Uninstalled right away when I found this. There is a feature called Anti-Theft where you are able to REMOTELY wipe out an entire device's data in case it is stolen. On paper, this is a great idea. However, there is not enough security around this option. AT ALL. Anyone who has your BitDefender login information can VERY EASILY (with 2 clicks, no joke) REMOTELY wipe and destroy data on ANY device you have under Bitdefender's protection. There is no 2FA to authorize this action or anything. So, even if you don't give anyone access to your Bitdefender login information, there is still a possibility that Bitdefender themselves can be breached and a hacker can pull off this command. Or a Bitdefender employee gone rouge. There are just too m,any options for this to go bad. It just gives too much power to someone if it falls in the wrong hands. I am glad I only spent $35 on it and not $100 or more.

I have been using for 2 years now and this product is great. I help my Grandson with his school laptop and I have both a laptop and a desktop so I needed multiple licenses. This one fit the bill perfectly and the cost at Best Buy was perfect, plus I was able to add the activation code to my existing account so there is no loss of service. AWESOME!!
