  • 4K disk has problems

    Near the end of the film, the 4K disk locked up my 4K player. Id wouldn't even respond to the power button! The Blue Ray disk played well all the way through though.

    Black Adam has a lot of great things going for it. Especially Dr. Fate. But it ends up feeling like a generic super hero movie.

    They should have used the original story where he is a version of Shazam and got corrupted. The final battle wasn't great either.

    During a certain sequence I thought “that’s one of the gnarliest kills I’ve ever seen!” Shortly thereafter I thought, “this is exactly what I would have wanted from a live-action comic book movie as a kid!” Then it all devolved into bland CGI. Needless to say, a VERY mixed bag.

    Where do I start. Too much CGI also fight scenes repetitive & boring. Tries to be clever & funny at times. Doesn't work. The Rock was a casting mistake. I understand why but would have worked better with a no name actor. The Rock talked like he was doing a WWE interview.
