It seems like every time Johnny Depp does a gangster movie, it's just ok. Reference Blow, Donnie Brasco, Public Enemy, and now Black Mass.

This movie didn't blow me away. It was good, but not great. I would recommend seeing the movie, but I'm not so sure it's worth buying.

Good Acting, But after seeing documentaries about Bulgers life story the movie seemed to be a let down. Still worth watching though.

Movie is a great way to tell a story about notorious US gangster, just not as good as I hoped it would be being from Boston area.
