Black panther is a good movie, the mcu does a great job with the character and continuing their story from the marvel universe.

A secret city that is even more advanced than the rest of the world. So advanced, but yet they have the same problems.

This movie was good, but a little more contrived than some of the other marvel movies, so only 4 stars. great price though

I loved this from the get go, and then working on Creed 2 and then 21 Bridges, I got to be friends with the leads. It's a sad thing to know Chad won't be around, but all the energy he put into this showed wonderfully. Michael too, there was a whole team of people trying their best to make this a mega success, and by the art in itself and box office success, that alone brought it up. The story is a sad one and it comes to a boiling point with one of those "oh...man" moments. You will love it if you love marvel.

Was looking to add this title to my collection for some time. With the price it was listed as was the time, great price.

Definitely a must for Marvel fans. Lots of background information on character. Wish 3D versions were still available

All of the movies in the MCU are great, but this is the one that feels like it will be remembered as a standout many years from now. This is primarily due to it feeling like a complete self-contained story with very little need to have seen the many other films in the series. And of course, the groundbreaking representation of African culture and women of color as action stars will no doubt have a strong influence on blockbusters to come. The steelbook is gorgeous and the 4K picture is great. Disney just needs to turn up the volume on its sound mixes! But overall, love it! A new modern classic

Setting aside the cultural impact and importance of this film, it is just a flat out great movie. It has its little flaws here and there, sure, and while it does help to have seen other MCU films--Avengers: Age of Ultron & Captain America: Civil War, especially--this one works pretty well as a stand-alone. Also provides some background/context for the Wakanda scenes in Avengers: Infinity War, so definitely see this first! (Okay, okay, truthfully you need to really have seen just about every prior MCU film to really understand everything that's going on in Infinity War, but you get my drift.)

I've been a comic book collector for decades, and Marvel's universe, and characters have always been in my collection. I've enjoyed this movie and the Blank Panther portrayal compared to the original comics. Although there's much more to this movie than a simple film, it did inspire a movement and made more money in the box office breaking records until the Black Panther appeared again on film in the next Avengers movie of 2018. I won't add any spoilers, but this is certainly a must add to any Marvel fan's video collection.

As most people agree, it's very entertaining and fun. Sometimes the overuse of CGI was distracting but not a big deal.

While the film is good (it IS an MCU film), we are given far too detail as to how Wakanda works, leaving a lot of logic loopholes as to how the plot of the film is allowed to proceed aside from "that's how the script went." Plus, Killmonger started out great but devolved into a terrible character by the end, T'Challa is bland as all get out, and the final fight has some terrible CGI.

A good Marvel Movie, wouldn't say it was the best one that all of the hype made it up to be, but worth watching.
