Introducing new characters can get old for Marvel, but we met Black Panther in another film. Even still it is an origin story that is a very unique experience. It blends African lifestyle with American and world issues. It is indeed very different to other Marvel films. All things said, the action is good and the characters are very likable. Highly recommended

I took my kids to this movie in the theater and the absolutely loved it. We purchased this when it came out on DVD and my kids and I really enjoy watching Black Panther whenever we get a chance. The story line really keeps you engaged and also includes a few funny spots here and there to keep the kids engaged. I will be watching Black Panther over and over again.

Personally this is a top 3 marvel movie of all time. This movie changed the game for all future marvel movies in my opinion. That graphics, the music, the stories, the deeper meaning than just a movie. Chadwick and Jordan deliver fantastic performances. I am anxiously awaiting a follow-up that sadly won't be for years.

If you're a marvel fan and a fan of great movies then this is a must watch! Continue the next chapter in the Infinity Saga when you go to amazing city Walanda and get the chance to engage with a fast pace and technological adventure/rollercoaster with Black Panther. Make sure to watch the post credit scenes. Enjoy!

Rarely does a superhero film address such tough geo-political issues as abject poverty, global isolation, and the call to action as well as they were covered in Black Panther. To do so in such a beautifully filmed, wonderfully acted and directed film makes this film deserving of high praise, and truly made the Steel Book Edition a must add to my video collection.

This review is for the Steelbook packaging only as the contents are the same as the original release. The cover art is way different and much more special than the standard release, in my opinion. I also won the Steelbook lottery with this one as there weren't any dents or scratches on the case!

Even setting aside the long-overdue acknowledgement of black heritage, this is a better than average super hero movie. The characters are mostly interesting the set design using African themes are gorgeous to look at and the action sequences are good too. Watching African American kids in the theater finally able to get the same kick out of watching a superhero that they can easily imagine themselves to be in their daydreams just adds another layer of enjoyment. I always imagined that secretly I could be Peter Parker when I was 10 years old (idiotic I know, but i was T E N yeas old!) so why shouldn't black kids dream about the Black Panther? Fun movie.

I must have seen this movie at least 50 times and counting. One of the best MCU movies (on my top 10)just got better with this new 4k steelbook release. A beautiful piece of work, the art, discs and 4k quality is a thing to behold. If you love comic books and MCU movies, you must pick this title up for your collection.

I think that "Black Panther" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I immediately enjoyed it and I also think that "Black Panther" had a lot of exciting, entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and exciting storyline.

MCU has had a long run in creating some of the best (and well, some cheesy) movies. Black panther really is the cream of the crop. The writers took the time and care to make this authentic to the original comic. I cant say enough about the cinematography, acting, and overall story. I look forward to more from MCU and especially along the vein of Black Panther.

Hands down the best Marvel Cinematic Universe movie I've seen so far. So many struggles that face today's society are depicted in this movie with notes of racial undertones and ethical behavior towards technology and the dangers it inevitably will construct. The visuals, acting, and story leave you edified in the end. Two thumbs way up. MCU struck gold again.

I love the movie. Black Panther is an inspired new hero for the MCU. The HDR video presentation is one of the best available. The colors on screen will take your breath away. However, the Dolby Atmos track on this one could be better. It's quieter than most other recent releases and is a bit underwhelming in its dynamics. Otherwise, a great UHD disc.

I didn't see Black Panther in the theater. I waited for it to come out on Blu-ray. Great flick!! The cast was picked perfectly for they're roles. I can't wait for a sequel! If you like action movies you can't pick a better one! Just make sure to get a large pop corn & a large drink before you hit the play button, because you'll be glued to your seat! Enjoy!

Black Panther is everything that the entertainment industry has been missing when it comes to diversity. The cultural references in this seemingly fantasy-driven title are amazing. I recommend looking into the tribes they reference in this movie to learn more and appreciate it. Even if you do not enjoy or know about the comics, this is a must see.

This ended up being the first UHD movie I watched on my new LG OLED 4K tv and wow was it something else. Not only for the great colors but the black levels were incredible and the Dolby Atmos sounds was great. While I doubt all UHD movies will provide this level of upgrade over Blu-ray for the ones that do it’s definitely worth the price upgrade.

As an avid fan of several, if not all, Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, 2018’s Black Panther was one of the best standalone films. Not only is it entertaining and fits snuggly into the world introduced in 2008’s Iron Man, but it also touches on topics involving the African Diaspora,heritage, and the relations that go on within race. It is a must see.

Great movie, with a good story, lots of action. The introduction of Black Panther in Civil War was a great intro to this awesome character. Michael B Jordan's character as Killmonger was awesome. Really liked the way the characters evolved, ulitmately leading to the final battle in Wakanda. Fans of MCU will definitely enjoy this installment.

Can’t believe you have not already seen this movie, but if you’re reading my review then I suppose it’s a possibility. So what are you waiting for? This will blow your mind. And if you haven’t already seen any other Marvel movies, this one will definitely get you hooked on the entire franchise!

This might be the best movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. It is so good. The casting, directing, writing, music, costuming, scene settings- they're all just perfect. Black Panther has the most compelling villain of any of the Marvel movies and this was just a joy to watch in theaters and has been a joy to watch again and again at home.

This is one to see, I don't want to spoil anything,but it will make you proud to be African American and proud of those involved with this movie. this movie is enjoyable from start to finish. My girl Michone from TWD was incredible, but I knew she would be. VERY PROFESSIONALLY DONE!!!!!! I saw the movie and ordered the dvd for my collection.
