Great comic book movieThis was something that anyone could enjoy whether you knew count books are not definitely a new take on the popular black panther character from the 70s cool special effects interesting people overall I think it’s a good bar of the movie where that you go for the political issues or not I like it just because it’s a cool movie

Going into this film, I was expecting deeper characters than most Marvel films as the team of Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan have made some of the best films of the last few years. There are three Marvel films I would say are required watching before going to see Avengers Infinity War, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor Ragnrok and also Black Panther.

Black Panther [Blu-ray] [2018] is Marvel at its apex. Disney has certainly reached its zenith with this movie. Not just a great "black superhero" movie but easily top 10 comic book film all-time. Definitely top 5 box-office. I love this film and you've probably already seen it in theaters so now own it and watch it at home. I highly recommend it.

I was hesitant at first, until the movie started to gain momentum. This movie was a little slow to start, but became very interesting and entertaining as it moved on. This is a great movie to test your TVs contrast/black levels. The kids and I watched "Captain America, Civil War" first, and loaded Black Panther right after. This helped us a lot.

This is more than a superhero movie. It's sheer movie making brilliance!! Ryan Coogler is truly a master story teller. He was able to keep the movie comic genre intact and merge it to what is relevant and currently happening in society is simply superb. I am a true fan of this director and will be watching anything he puts out. A must see!!

Marvel just keeps knocking it out of the park. Within the last few years they've really stepped it up on villians, having several weak ones in thier early years. Killmonger continues this tradition as a well rounded sympathetic character with the right observations but the wrong conclusions. This movie is fun, intriguing and relevant to our times.

Black Panther was the movie event of the 2018. Its representation of black people on film was outstanding. It was a movie for the entire family. Just black people standing tall, being proud, showing women as scientists , warriors and feminine and men as men. All black families should have this film in their library. Marvel did this film right.

Its a Marvel superhero movie. You know what you are in for. However, if you look for it there are themes about African American culture and more. If you pressed me I would call myself Republican (with reservations) and I did not mind the "deeper" meaning behind some things on display here.

I love the Steelbook casing and if you're an avid movie watcher, as I am, this is an awesome format to collect your personal favorites from new to classic. Not only do you get a great movie of your choosing but the graphic on the tin covers are a work of art in their own right. All around Best Buy! ;-)

This movie was such a surprise and a joy! It made me so proud to be African American and a Woman to boot!!! The strong female characters was what did it for me, but the movie overall was fantastic. It brought out such a wonderful spirit of unity between men and women. And I'm a die hard Marvel baby and this one is a credit to Marvel and Disney!!!

Well made. Entertaining, engaging, socially responsive and responsible, but also fun and funny. Finally, something for a too often invisible community. Maybe it could’ve shared more of the real world contributions that have been made. Killmonger may have been a departure from comics but it was a good and tragic character nonetheless.

I think i have watched this movie 5-6 times now with various friends. Each time it blows my mind. I have a 75inch OLED TV and a Dolby Atmos Sound system and the picture quality is so clear and sound so realistic that it's as though you are right there. The colors and cinematography are exceptional. Would definitely recommend this movie.

I couldn’t see it on the big screen so it was almost a day 1 purchase for me when the 4K UHD bluray was released. I love the movie, probably one of the best Marvel Universe yet. The 4K HDR picture looks amazing on my Samsung 65” KS8000, the SFX are really good too. The Dolly Atmos sound is really amazing too on my 5.1.2 setup. Great purchase!

Though this movie had a majority African American cast it is a movie for everyone.It's fast and fresh with wonderful performances from Chadwick Boseman and Michael B.Jordan.Behind every great movie is a great villain and Jordan's Killmonger proves my point.I saw this movie two times in the theater and couldn't wait for it to come out on Bluray.

Believe the hype on this one - Black Panther is one of Marvel's best films released yet. This looks great in 4K and it's a great steelbook to add to your collection. One minor gripe - I wish Marvel/Disney still included a 3D disc for films they released as 3D theatrically.

In a crowded genre its impossible to stand out as a super hero film, till now. Black Panther is an amazing film that has an amazing world as much as amazing characters. They even fixed their Villain problem thanks to Michael B. Jordan! Watch this and pay attention to the small things in the world and the way people react around it.

I already owned the initial release of Black Panther 4K Steelbook. However, that did not come with a 4K digital copy; so I decided to pick this one up along with the fact that I am a fan of the movie (so multiple copies is ok) and the artwork is the same format as the current marvel releases on Steelbook.

I am not a big Marvel fan, but with the hype around this movie, I made sure that I purchased it. I didnt see it in theatres, so when I purchased it, that was my first time seeing it. The movie has just the right amount of action mixed with messages. Overall, this is a great movie and I will continue to watch it for months and years to come!

This truly is the best film produced by Marvel Studios! My opinion, as well as Kevin Feige. This film succeeds on all fronts - writing/character development, acting, and it is visually stunning. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Disney is able to acquire Fox’s catalog so that we can see the Black Panther/Storm relationship in the future.

I love the Marvel movies. That said, this was very very good. I had high expectations going into this movie and I can say the action and effects were great! Nice setup for the back story and as always it is left open for the next chapter. If you are a Marvel fan I would recommend this one for your collection. The Blue ray quality is sweet!
