The series has a good premise but the story line is hard to understand/follow at times.

This show was slow at times. I am only half way through it, as I became bored.

Not fit for even adults to watch, I am not a prude but this went beyond this.

This is one of the best shows that is currently out there. I knew very little about the show prior to purchasing the first season, but it was definitely worth the purchase. I went in expecting a lot of the stereotypical pirate stuff, and surprisingly, there wasn't too much of that. There is so much more to the show that that. Even if you are not that into the pirate genre, I would definitely give the show a chance.

Black sails is a great show I am sad that there will be no 5th season. I will say if you do not like nudity and fowl language and acts. Do not watch this. Season one is full of graphic scenes . But such a wondeful pirate show. I'm ready to buy the complete series set

I absolutely enjoyed this series. If you're into pirate stores, then you're in the ring place. Incredible production went into making this wonderfully written show. I highly recommend it!

I was a little skeptical because Michael Bay is an executive producer, but this delivers on action, pace, plot, effects, everything...

A really great show about pirates. It follows a young John Sliver and others looking for gold and among others things. A fun one to watch.

The show starts off a little slow compared to other series but it seems like it will soon get really good.
