While everyone else watches Game of Thrones .. it is nice to see some other alternatives in terms of historical series on TV.

I would recommend this game, its fun challenging, good entertainment for all family members

Much like the first season, this was entertaining. Not a top notch show, but entertaining.

I purchased this Season of Black Sails and while attempting to watch the images froze unresponsive to cleaning, replay, etc. I returned and was sent another copy and the same thing happened again. With the third set of discs i was finally able to complete the season. Manufacturing quality is an obvious cancer.

I think this series could be so much more but it's still fun to watch.

2nd season is a little slower then the first but still enjoyable.

Whatever (minor) shortcomings season 1 had is completely eradicated with the awesomely epic season 2 of "Black Sails". Season 2 sees a much more fleshed-out Captain Flint, and we discover the heart-breaking reasons for his turn to ruthless pirate captain. It is hard not to become mesmerized with the characters, the locales, and most importantly, the beautifully written story. Any fan of pirate lore should not miss this grandioso tale of revenge, betrayal, loyalty, love and honor...... along with all the brutality that comes with these things. Here is hoping that season 3 will be as amazing as 2 was. Cheers mates!

We saw the show when it was broadcast on Starz and wanted to get a copy to keep. Oddly enough, Amazon didn't have this in Blue Ray at the time I wanted to purchase the three season set, so I got it here at Best Buy. The show is awesome, but not for the faint of heart. At one point you think Flint is going to go legit and be a nice guy, but the Brits change his mind and he does what he has to do in order to survive. awesome music, too (I'm a big Bear McCreary fan from BSG)

If you liked season one, then you most certainly will like season two. The story is faster paced this season, while at the same time, leaving room for more character development with the backstory of some of the characters.

The second season is better than the first, I love it! I would recommend this to anyone..

I enjoyed the second season much better than the first. The last two episodes are really awesome.

Ok once they get the script on par with the actors they could have a winner here. These are great actors give them some really good scripts, they can handle it. You can tighten the relationships and the action without sacrificing the story line. So buck up, work on the script and put this series into the same class as the actors.
