I have to say, purchasing a lot of the toy-grade cars for the kids, this is by far the worst experience. Out of the box: Body askew, plastic doesn't line up along 1/4 section of where the 2 halves meet via screw. Speaking of which, the screw was near-impossible to remove to even get batteries into the car (threads misaligned with plastic hole). Large visible scratch on one of the axles where the body connects despite solid packaging. Once batteries installed/body reassembled: headlights are on, very minimal response from remote control unless holding it within 6 inches of the car. When remote is in this range (almost on the car itself) controls to move won't work on the right side; left side will start to respond but the car 'stutters' forward and back for less than a second before stopping. Not recommended at all: even for a low cost toy-grade RC, I've found better quality/run time in lower priced products from other retailers.

Got this from best buy for my son. after opening we realized it has different remote control . not sure if some one returned it or thats how it came. I am sure when I opened it , packing was like new. Also screw to place batteries are very poor quality,

Bought my kids this RC toy for Christmas just for them to open it up just to find out it doesn't work because the Manufacture didn't bother to check the assembly line that the wires was not soldered to the motherboard on both controller & RC toy.
