Partial functionality working and intermittently

Changed batteries and tried. Even then, works intermittently. I purchased this to gift a relative in India. Worst embarrassment, when it was not working. I could not return the product as I am away from country for more than 30 days.

Would've loved to see it work and I'm sure my 3 year old would've enjoyed it. Maybe next time....

Bought as a gift so I don't know how long the batteries will last, etc. Could turn out to be an expensive gift for the recipient!
