Black Widow is a Worthy Entry in the MCU Saga!

Love the newest addition to the MCU released on 4K blu-ray! Scarlett Johansson has owned this role for the better part of a decade and her swan song is as much of a tribute to her as it is to launching the MCU career of her "sister" as the new Black Widow moving forward, Yelena (Florence Pugh). The movie looks great on 4k blu-ray and looks especially fantastic in this steelbook edition. Highly recommended!

The Steelbook was awesome. Big picture of Scarlet Johansson was already enough for me. The white background color is gorgeous. If only this movie was done earlier would of been even better so she can fight more fluent. But she is getting older so the fight scenes weren’t as great as when we first saw her in action. Can’t wait for Hawkeye. Wished they had it available in the USA the 3d version though.

Wish I could have seen this in the theaters as I've seen all the other MCU films. The movie has a dark beginning but things get better when the two sisters meet. Rachel Weisz and David Harbour really make the movie shine. Not sure why they cast Ray Winstone as the antagonist when there are so many Russian actors out there. Same goes for Olga Kurylenko who has only one spoken line in the entire movie. Would have been nice to see some other Avenger faces. Overall, the movie is a nice tie-in between Civil War and Infinity War.

The movie is great. But this review is for the packaging. As you'd expect for this level of packaging, you don't get much. Just the BD of the movie itself. There isn't much extra content on the disc itself. But if all you want is the movie, this fits the bill. I bought this in-store and everything was in great condition.

I've been waiting for this disc to be released and I was not disappointed. I view movies on a 135" 2:35 aspect ratio screen with 7.2.6 audio and streaming streaming quality just disappoints. The video was crisp and the audio definitely did not disappoint. Some points in the audio were so dynamic that it made me jump. I didn't view the standard blu-ray so i cannot comment on that disc.

A Great Addition to the Infinity Saga

Black Widow is a fun film with a variety of incredible set pieces, but it is truly its primary family of characters that shine throughout the film. In particular, Florence Pugh's Yelena Bolova isa. standout character that added a great depth of levity and emotion to the story. With that being said, the film canonically takes place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. As a result, this film would have had far more impact if it had been released before Infinity War.

While I’m not big fan of BW among other Avengers but I wanted to watch the movie hoping to see or hear hints that may clear the path for a potential Avengers movie. However, the movie is interesting and I liked the story that made me watch it twice.

Fun prequel to the genesis of the Russian Avenger! Scarlett Johannesburg gets her long overdue showcase of the Black Widow. The Avenger with no superpower or high tech equipment is certainly kickass in this role. Movie also features David Harbour as her “father” and Rachel Weisz as her “mother”. You also meet her younger sister who may become an Avenger in the future (??).

Steelbook is one of the best right up there with civil wars steelbook. Nothing beats pre ordering early for store pick up. Quick and easy pick up on release day. Movie is fantastic, don’t listen to the frustrated virgins out there. Looks incredible on an OLED, atmos is good. All around 10/10

Another exciting installment to the Marvel Cinematic. This time, we focus on the first female Avenger, Natasha Romanoff a.k.a Black Widow. This tells what she had been up to after the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and how she deals with the sins of the past. Even after "Avengers: Endgame," the MCU keeps going strong. Total recommendation for Marvel fans.

An ultimate story about sisters and family that drives this movie to the peak in which it reaches,,,, coupled with a bunch of great action set pieces and a reveal in the end that would make your jaw drop, Scarlett Johanson's Black Widow delivers in what it sets to accomplish, which is a setup movie out of the way of the timeline to establish this beloved character.

    Great Black Widow Origin

Good storytelling of the Origin of Black Widow and her misfit family. The stunts and visual effects is good but nothing to make you stand on your feet. After all, she have great combat skills as well as interrogation but no real super power. Great cast and would love a sequel but we all know that it would not be possible unless they focus on the others.

I really liked the movie! People are starting to forget these movies are supposed to be fun, don't always have to have a big pay off or be setting up something major (Even though there is a lot of world building in this movie) it looks great in 4k and audio quality is exactly what it should be.

“Black Widow” is a intriguing story on the developing character of Natasha Romanoff and an outstanding segment in the on-going Saga of the Marvel’s complex Team of Avengers…who fight and protect mankind from worldly and galactic evildoers. This story should have been told at the beginning of the Saga…as well as all of the other Marvel characters.

This is a much anticipated movie, because I am a big fan of the Black Widow. I really feel it's much, much overdue. I thought it was well acted, but a bit too long, some of the CGI was well questionable as to choices, but a great ride and for me well worth owning, more so in 4K. And I am certainly welcoming Florence Pugh from Midsommar as an Avenger.

The events chronicled in this movie are a great bridge between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. It gives more insight into Natasha Romanoff's backstory that elaborates passing references in prior movies. Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz all have great chemistry as the ersatz quasi-family unit.

I REALLY enjoyed how the characters interacted with each other, and how the dynamics of the family, especially (older/ younger sister) played. I felt the actors played off each other well. Well written as well. Some special effects were below the standards we've come to expect. Pay attention to the after credits scene, juuuuuust saaaaayin...
