This keyboard is exactly what i wanted! The keys feel great and hold strong. Plus the lights are are bright and look cool!

Great look over some of the others I considered. I didn't like that the secondary shift key symbols are not lighted so I bought the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard with Brown switches. Had 95% of what I was looking for but I noticed my typing accuracy sharply declined. Just something about the depressing of the keys. I returned the Corsair and decided to keep the Razer as a compromise. Negative on Corsair: Fonts are large and typing differences. Positive on Razer: Excellent Font and high speed typing with accuracy. Otherwise, features are even. I would have kept the Corsair and never looked for more if I hadn't tried the Razer Blackwidow Elite first. I picked up the Razer keycap upgrade kit which has the secondary shift keys lighted! Arrives in 3 days so maybe this will get me a 100% of what I was looking for.

While my son's laptop for gaming was a bit of a dog, this keyboard was a wonderful upgrade to his gaming experience -- he loves the clickiness and build quality, which is excellent. Have since paired it with a new gaming desktop, and now it seriously shines as a great piece of hardware. That said, it can be used straight out of the box, but fully setting up a gaming keyboard takes some time and has a bit of complexity, and this one is no different, so be patient. The number of options and configuration can be overwhelming, and while some people LOVE that stuff, others (like me and my son) just want to get through it. Having an 'easy-button' option for initial setup might serve some people well. The experienced keyboard geeks could bypass that and dive right in to tweak every little detail. And then tweak it again later.

My pc experience has gotten way better w/ this mechanical keyboard! The rgb lighting is awesome and easy to play with.

Great keyboard overall very comfortable to use and very responsible the only down side is the volume control settings on the keyboard go crazy when you want to lower or bring back up the music

Solid keyboard. Works well and the wrist pad feels nice. The keys have a nice feel to them and are satisfying.

This keyboard is by far worth the money paid. The padded wrist rest is a great option. I purchased this on a sale. I really wanted the huntsman elite but settled for this keyboard since it was on sale. I do not regret my purchase. I was a little worried of the annoyance of the clicky sound of the keyboard, but there is something about a mechanical keyboard that is satisfying. I would recommend this to anyone searching for a keyboard and not wanting to spend $200 on the Hunstman Elite.

I don't use it for gaming but liked it for the price ($40 off on sale), switches (green - clicky but I work at home), volume/mute button (great when answering phone calls) with the backlighting as a perk (I use solid white - boring but I like it). Know that the keyboard cable is VERY thick and not easily inserted in cable management slots (channels) - I skipped this. You'll need an extra USB port if you want to use the pass-through port (not USB-3)

I had just finished building my PC for the first time and was in the look for a good keyboard as the one I was using was a cheap /decent RGB keyboard I had purchased from Amazon. I did my research first as I had a vast amount of knowledge on other game brands. In my opinion, this is a fantastic keyboard and even more so since it was on special and purchased it for a little over 50% off. Highly recommended to anyone new into PC gaming.

I bought this keyboard to replace a 2 year old Logitech keyboard that was failing way too soon. I'm not a gamer, but I want a good keyboard that will last. This Black Widow from Razer, I am hoping, will do the job. The keys have great feedback and I love that the keyboard pulses with light. The Razor software has not been so easy to learn, but hopefully enough to get the lighting the way I desire. Have had it a couple of months...we'll see.

Great quality and heavy duty. RGB is very customizable and easy to configure. My son loves it
