This was a major upgrade from last keyboard. I love it, it goes great in my RGB setup, with my razer PC case. I love the switches, they have a nice audible click. And the fact that it is on sale right now for a significant amount made it a great purchase.

Pro's: 1) Love the backlighting that makes the letters easy to read. 2) Love the extra USB port. 3) Supporting software (eventually) loads without requiring CDROM. Con's: 1) Not all the letters are backlit? Why? The extra letters are printed in gray against black, which is hard to read. If you are going to backlight, why not backlight ALL the letters? Now I have to remember where the letters are if my room lighting is dim. Very frustrating. 2) The second USB port REQUIRES A SECOND USB CABLE TO BE PLUGGED IN! LED lighting should not require so much power as to cripple a second USB port without requiring another cable to take up valuable space in my USB hub! 3) If you are going to provide a spare USB port, WHY NOT A SECOND SPARE PORT? 4) Packaging: A clear plastic cover protects MOST of the keys, but inexplicably goes UNDER several keys making it difficult to remove with completely popping the keys OFF of the keyboard. Completely unnecessary and makes removal of the keyboard from the packaging frustrating. Keyboard seems well made and while I thought the tactile "click" would be more annoying, it has not been a major inconvenience. I find the USB limitations and lack of backlighting of some characters much more annoying. The palm rest is comfortable and I like that it appears to be held in place magnetically. I also like that the drivers and support app are installable on detection, as my laptop does not have a CDROM drive for installing. Will I buy this again? Not sure, given the backlighting issue.

Best keyboard even thought after some keys are taken off then won’t be able to ever be put on right

I am very impressed with this keyboard. It comes with so many different features and I even got it on an insane deal. If you are looking to buy this I either recommend waiting for a deal or go for the Razer huntsman elite. Overall this keyboard is great and I even enjoy writing this review using the keyboard itself. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The switches sound satisfying and I love the dedicated media buttons.

Seemed like a a decent enough keyboard, but I returned it for two reasons. 1) the clicky keys are super clicky, quite loud, and while I could tolerate it somewhat it was annoying to others in the room. 2) The wrist rest connects to the keyboard magnetically, but it's a very weak magnet. Possibly fine for some people, but I move my keyboard around a lot, depending on what I'm doing, and it was a minor nuisance to put it back into place.

I purchased this keyboard because my 4 year old Razer keyboard went out on me. The keys on the new keyboard do not feel as sturdy as on my old one and have a cheap plastic colicky sound whereas the old keyboard just had a solid click of the key switches. (which is why I purchased the warranty with it) It sounds like when your nails are too long and you are hitting the keys with them instead of your actual finger. Anyway, it works great so far accept for the thin hollow echo's from the keycaps.

As advertised. This is a sleek and well built keyboard. I find it very satisfying to type on it.

If you like a clicky keyboard, this is a great choice! I've been working from home for five months and been using this almost the entire time. It works great with Mac and Windows, has a nice palm rest, and all the RGB if you're into that sort of thing.

I really like this keyboard. The mechanical keys for tactile response and feedback. Excellent for gaming. Since the keys are mechanical they are loud compared to the softer membrane type of keys. That may be a deal buster for some however it doesn't bother me.

Saw this on sale and got it for my daughter as an early Birthday present. She's a college student and hopefully, she's studying more than gaming. (lol). I know she works hard and thought this is a little reward for her hard work.

Love this keyboard but the keys are a bit loud. Definitely will be picking up the silent version of this when I need a new keyboard. The little volume rocker sometimes doesn’t work as good. Has issues but apart form that it’s solid.

I received a razor gaming mouse and mousepad for Christmas so I just had to complete my purchase and get the gaming keyboard. It is a great addition to my rig. I wish I could say more but I haven’t explored all the fun macros I can create with it. It’s a great midrange fun.

Very clicky and has many light options and built in volume control. Got a good deal.

Great keyboard. Best one I’ve owned compared to others I’ve used. I would buy again. Only complaint t is lettering on keys are wearing off after one year but I do use it everyday for couple hours.

I had to get this keyboard as my warranty only covered a different which they didn't have in stock. I recommend this to anyone but keep in mind you will need two free USBs in the back and headphone jack in order for the keyboard to work.

A great mechanical keyboard, though a little overpriced. The keyboard itself feels nice and is very sturdy, and the added wrist rest is a nice bonus. Only complaint is that the RGB lighting is not configurable nor changeable unless you have the synapse software running, the "on-board memory" claim is very misleading in this case, as only macros are saved to the memory, not lighting sadly.

Only down side to this keyboard is the click clacks but hey thet is why you choose this model. It is very ergonomic for my hands and I love using it every day.

This is my 3rd BlackWidow keyboard and I think it’s my favorite so far. The keys being above the board make for easier removal and it seems a bit more compact which I like. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the LEDs for caps lock, num lock, etc are ridiculously bright. I had to buy some dimming stickers and put two over each light so I could work and not be blinded in the process.

Excellent keyboard, feels very good but extremely noisy! To use with a headset.
