Customers find value in the BlackWidow Elite's high-quality build, vibrant RGB lighting, and comfortable wrist rest. Many appreciate the satisfying key feel and ease of use, along with the extensive customization options. However, some users experienced issues with the software and the volume knob's reliability. This is a mechanical keyboard, it does not make a person better at gaming, it is a silly over priced toy but a nice looking one. It has really nice volume buttons, it makes playing in the dark quite easy, and there are some cool mods for doing music synthesizer stuff with it. For under 100$ it's worth it but these things are neat but not necessary for pc gaming.

Excellent gaming keyboard can personalize its colors and patterns to suit your personality or the games you play and are visually stunning! Keys feel crisp and have a fantastic click sound when typing. The ability to exchange the switches to something that suits your playing style is also a great touch!

My keyboard was starting to give me problems and I had been considering buying a new mouse/keyboard combo for awhile. I’ve heard quite a few things about Razer products. From their headphones to their mice. While I was not a fan of the price, from the research I had done a while ago ok their keyboards and other competitors, this one seemed to be the best fit for what I needed it for. After getting home and setting it up and messing with all the lighting, I used it for about 8 hours straight the next day, not once was it uncomfortable to use or annoying loud (I actually enjoy the clicky-ness of the mechanical keyboards, my prior keyboard was a basic IBuyPower one so I didn’t have that). I’ve already used it for about 18 hours worth of game time and so far I have no complaints, it’s very responsive, not overly loud and obnoxious (sister couldn’t really/couldn’t at al hear it through my microphone), and it’s comfortable for the wrists. I would recommend if you are looking to spend a little extra on a keyboard and are also looking for a Razer product itself. In addition I’d toss in the DeathAdder Elite to go with it as they are a pretty good fit in terms of comfort ability and ease of use.

This is a great keyboard. I got the one with razed green switches and it sounds amazing. The wrist rest is also really comfortable. The led lights are customizable and you can make many great designs as well as the preset colors. Overall it’s an outstanding keyboard and great for the price you are paying for.

Got this to replace my brother's ancient e-machine keyboard on his otherwise modern gaming pc. He loves it infinitely more and has absolutely no complaints. The key switches are clicky and responsive. The rgb is bright and the patterns are fun to play with. Solid build quality makes for a solid product.

Great gaming keyboard! My daughter loves how she can change the lighting features on the keyboard to suit her moods. She also loves the “clicking “ of the keys which remind me of old computer keyboards when computers first came out. But if you want a silent keyboard then you should get something else.

Fantastic keyboard with good mechanical feedback and auditory tone, beautiful RGB lights, and comfortable wrist rest. As someone who works from home like so many of us these days, it is nice to type, video edit, and do Excel work during daytime hours, and then switch over to gaming as a reward in the evening, all on the same excellent keyboard. If I had any complaints, it would be that a couple of the alphabetical keys have ever so slightly different pressure thresholds (we are talking a couple of grams here) but this is not something you can notice during normal typing. Overall, if you can find this keyboard on sale, I don't think you can get a better or more attractive typing experience for the money. There is a reason Razeris often considered to be the benchmark standard for gaming keyboards. Background - have used many keyboards over the years from linear to the membrane and am switching from an Razer blackwidow 2013 that was used for gaming. This keyboard is a noticeable upgrade in both looks and feel.

Way better than my original keyboard, the keys are very responsive and the added wrist rest makes it very comfortable. A majority of my accessories are razer so the Razer Synapse app has made my setup very nice. I got it on sale during Black Friday and probably the best purchase I made that day.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and the clicky-ness is very nice! I thought it would be annoyingly loud, and there is definitely a lot of noise vs a membrane keyboard, but the feel is much appreciated - I have also used the Macbook Pro keyboard for awhile, so you can imagine the upgrade... At the price I got this, it is fantastic, the customization options available in Synapse are great, I feel like I've just scratched the surface but each key can be individually customized, and I like to have the WASD keys set to a different color when gaming. The media controls are also nice to have, especially the volume dial. I also plug my mouse into the built-in USB port, another nice feature, though I haven't needed to use the audio pass-through. Overall, I would say this is a very nice keyboard that has held up well so far with daily use for work and gaming. If you want a full size mechanical keyboard with lots of RGB customization options, this is a very decent choice!

Nice solid and sturdy keyboard. It's got the clicky clacky keys so it sounds cool. My favorite part is the usb and headphone jack built into the keyboard itself. Comes with the wrist guard as well. It really is a fantastic keyboard that is very responsive and does everything i need it to do and well.

This keyboard feels amazing and is exactly what I was looking for. The customization of the colors and designs looks great. The Razer software is easy to use and setting up the keyboard, keybinds and colors was relatively easy. Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a solid gaming keyboard.

I got this keyboard for half price ($85 at the time) and for that price it's a pretty excellent value. The keys feel good, the wrist wrest is a nice touch and the colors look good and were easy to sync up with my Razer mouse. Recent purchase but no complaints so far.

My first mechanical keyboard was a Black Widow. I've always enjoyed the feel and response of that first keyboard, and when some of the keys started going out, I started looking for a new one. And this, with the removable wrist rest, was an easy choice.

Model: C7486-3250GRY-PUSSKU: 6299820 UNBOXING and PRESENTATION Right out of the box, my first thought is… this looks exactly like last year's Huntsman keyboard. This isn't just a repurpose of a previous design though, this keyboard has more features than the Huntsman lineup for less money. This is a solid board for anyone. Gamers, creatives, and enthusiasts alike will all find something to love about the BlackWidow Elite (BWE). You will receive the typical Razer presentation of high quality materials and well thought out presentation. The cable is braided and thick to be easily gripped by the cable routing options provided. More on the cable routing options to come. I am immediately struck by the amount and quality of the light produced by these RGBs. The body is a marriage of matte aluminum and plastic that doesn't sacrifice quality. Solid like you would expect for a board in this price range. The BWE is just beautiful to look at. I love the brush aluminum top plate and the look it gives with the RGBs reflecting off of it. The keys are a soft plastic that are a delight to work on. The build quality is never in question on these premium keyboards. The one downside is they are fingerprint magnets. You will see oils from your hands and the actual switch/hinge mechanisms end up on these keycaps. Not a good look for me and my OCD, but this still offers so much more I can look past this. You get dedicated media controls and software customization is endless. You get a USB passthrough and headphone/mic combo jack. The overall typing experience is great but these keys require a little muscle. 50g to actuate the switch and you can tell the difference, but you will adjust quickly. The only thing I worry about is the holes in the switches and dust and debris getting in the board. only time will tell if this gets clogged and effects performance. The keyboard is overall well-constructed. Plastic reinforces with The feel of the key caps and the switches are a perfect match for me. The 50g actuation force may be a bit laborious for some, but I love them. Other switches I have used in the past have a 45g force and it didn't take long before I found myself adjusted. The sound is very clicky and loud, just how I like it. The wrist rest is a made of soft memory foam that magnetically attaches itself to the keyboard. The RGBs do not go into the wrist rest so that is one differentiator in their Chroma line. If you attach this, you lose the RGB Razer logo on the front. Very nice to have so you don't have to worry about them separating. In my experience, it is too soft to me and doesn't offer support like others I have tried. This may be perfect for you, but I like a denser foam as a wrist rest. The key caps are made of high quality material and feel really soft to the touch. Here are some bullet points I want to share: Don't Like -Keys are fingerprint magnets. They are a matte plastic and your finger prints shine on these caps. -Software. Synapse has good and some bad. Customization is not very intuitive or user friendly. I ended up just sticking with the basic onboard profiles. I didn't want to dedicate the time to actually trying to learn the software to make my own profiles. You can, however, easily drag and select keys to color and customize, but again not really interested in that. -3.5mm jack hums with my speakers. I've verified using my MoBo that it isn't the speaker connector. They may be that the impedance of the speakers is too high for the jack. -RGB secondary key functions go dark. You better have a great memory because you will be hunting and pecking in the dark for function keys and multimedia keys. Anything you need to press shift or media key is not lit. No big deal for me, but a missed opportunity to stand out with the content creator community. -Cable braiding is thick and frays easily from cable routing channels. This is disappointing for a keyboard in this range. -Wrist rest is too soft for me. This is just personal preference, it may be a fit for you. Like -Hybrid on-board and cloud memory. Never have to reset your keyboard or create your profiles again. -RGBs and Switches. I absolutely love the key/cap combo here with the best RGBs in the biz. The RGB quality of this keyboard just really impressed me. I have and tested many premium mech keyboards and this lighting is top notch. I personally like the "RGB under glow" or light bleed but this just looks intentional. It is just something to see. -I/O on side. I love the location of the I/O ports on the side (USB @2.0 and 3.5mm jack). You can reduce connectivity issues with wireless transmitters that way and keep things tidy using the integrated cable management system. -Cable Management. You have three options to route the keyboard wire rather than being stuck with it in an odd location. -Aesthetics and build quality. I shared my thoughts on this in my intro. I just love how this looks on my desk. -Stabilized keys bars on larger keys. This means no more wobbly key caps. -Hypershift allows you to assign individual macros and key functions without losing basic functionality. -Media controls are always welcome. You can customize the function of the dial per application using Synapse. Straight from the Razer Site SPECS Razer™ Mechanical GREEN Switches designed for gaming 80 million keystroke lifespan Razer Chroma™ customizable backlighting with 16.8 million color options Ergonomic wrist rest Multi-function Digital Dial Dedicated Media Controls USB 2.0 and audio pass through Hybrid On-Board Memory and Cloud Storage – up to 5 profiles Razer Synapse 3 enabled Cable routing 10 key roll-over anti-ghosting Fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording Gaming mode option 1000 Hz Ultrapolling Military grade metal top construction Instant Trigger Technology WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED Get up to 2 years of warranty and access reliable tech support here. THE VERDICT Overall, this keyboard is a buy for me. The function and customization brings value unseen in the keyboard space. Anyone in this price rance should be looking hard at this. It is only a matter of finding the switches you like.

I can't comment on the longevity of the product but so far feel of the keys and the RGB has been great. Razer's program is easy to use and it was fun to mess around in games that worked with the keyboard. It lit up the exact keys I needed to press with color coded lights.

I had a super loud mechanical keyboard bought from South Korea. My friend always told me it was annoyingly loud. After visiting Best Buy and sanitizing the buttons I played around and this was what I chose. It syncs with my other Razr devices which is great. Easy to control the RGB. I haven't quite figured out the macro settings yet but I also haven't found a large need for the macro ability... yet. Maybe a "celebratory crouch" button so I don't have to press C so many times after a kill. The buttons are not silent, just more tolerable for others who play with my wild clicking hands in the microphone. I love the Ambience setting. The RGB syncs up with your screen! Like the whole thing. On YouTube they have test videos and your keyboard can make like fire and energy waves and it matches the dang screen! But you have to have a decent setup. Don't skimp, shop at Best Buy.

Excellent keyboard and looks very gorgeous. The rgb and comfort playing with this keyboard is perfect. The quality of the materials is very good but the quality of it construction is nor that good. My volume button is increasing and decreasing volume in windows, I dont know if its because I was raging and beated my table so hard that the button broke or its broke but itself.
