Good movie. Great action. First 2 were great, 3 not so much.

Great action! Liked the idea behind the movie. Entertaining.

This was a nice first effort. Special effects could have been better and in some minor ways take away from the ending. A good plot with great potential, but the origin story feels rushed and an opportunity lost. Still worth the watch to get an introduction to the Blade mythos.

Great Movie, presentation and steelbook. Horrible packaging by Best Buy for shipping (bubble envelope), so steelbook is cracked completely through the spine of the case.

The Steelbook was unfortunately dinged up and the store had no replacements. Great otherwise.

Nice but the artwork at savvy was better and there was a scratch on the front

Nice steelbook but I remembered to movie being a lot better.

This is a visually satisfying movie, but the plot and story line fall a bit short. Best of the trilogy.

Though it wasn't great, the blu transfer was solid.

Return the steelbook .. it came damaged, same thing every times . The packaging is so Awful.

My favorite part of the Blade series is the character known as Creepy Morgue Guy, played by the luminant Clint Curtis. You may remember him as the guy rolls in the charred body of Donal Logue near the beginning of the movie. The biggest flaws with the second and third films in the series were that Creepy Morgue Guy didn't appear. This otherwise excellent TV series could have rectified that, but it seems a Creepy Morgue Guy just isn't "PC" enough for today's wussified viewer. Other than that, the series is awesome. Wesley Snipes has really stepped up his game, but he also appeared to have some work done. Also, Kris Kristofferson became a lady or something. Overall: FIVE STARS!

blade is a very good super hero movie and when it came out in 98 in theaters people love it i saw it and i was shock bc it did live up to it's movie trailer and it is a good movie from start to finish and the blu-ray look and sounds good to and it sequels wear just ok i thought the second one was just ok and the problem with the third one was it was just to campy and to goofy it is not bad to say but worth watching and snipes plays blade very well so check it out

I enjoy Blade; a movie where vampires are BAD. Unlike the vampires of True Blood and Twilight they don't want to be your friend or lover, they have no interest in humans other than for food. For me, this is what vampires are all about. The opening 'club' scene, with New Order pumping through a good surround system, is a treat, and that feeling continues to the end of the movie. A great looking transfer for a movie over a decade old #much better than the Canadian release in almost every way#; Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson give their best. I only drop a star because I personally find Stephen Dorff - as Deacon Frost - lacking charisma.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Blade movies. They are awesome and hilarious at the same time. Once you accept the ridiculousness of how easily vampires expode into flames and Blade's one liners, the movie really is fun. The high def transfer was better than I expected and I though the price from Best Buy was very reasonable.

This movie is my favorite vampire movie. In general I'm not a vampire fan but this movie break the traditional type of mold. This movie focuses in on the heroic side of vampires. Blade is a part vampire/part human who hunts vampires to help save humanity. The movie has a decent amount of suspense but overall isn't as graphic as most vampire movies.
