It was a good made movie and I thought it was not quite as good as the original

Is a good movie, nice that it's in 4k! Have a 4k player, give this a watch!

Sometimes when you have a sequel to a blockbuster or iconic film years later -- sometimes decades later -- the sequel can really fall flat. That is not the case with this film. I still like the original film more, but this film does a great job of not being intimidated by the original or feel like a lazy cash grab. The world that is created is just amazing in the context of the film. The 4K quality of this film is in my top five for sure -- the original film's 4K presentation is as well. Usually I will take 3D over 4K, but I liked the 4K version more than the 3D version.

I must admit...It took me a few viewings to really come to appreciate the first Blade Runner... but when I finally did, it became one of my all-time favorites. The second Blade Runner however was somewhat of a different story. It was an instant love affair on its very first viewing. Sure, the story is a bit complicated but its worth the effort to understand. The CGI is impressive to say the least... and the sound is ... well... I'll just say the neighbors probably wished I didn't own such a powerful set of speakers! All around a great product.

Even though no sequel will of course ever beat or improve upon Ridley Scott's seminal, groundbreaking, and influential sci-fi masterpiece original "Blade Runner," this one at least tries very well and for the most part succeeds. It certainly has a sumptuous and dynamic visual style, but at every scene I still found myself comparing it to the original film. I'm glad Scott was aboard as a producer and story consultant to help guide the film along under its new director, but...eh, I'm just spoiled when it comes to "Blade Runner." I'll never think anything is better than the original. The running time on this one is exhaustingly long, too. It's still worth checking out if you don't have too much personal favoritism invested for Scott's film.

Missed this one in the theater but was worth a blind buy at this price.

A good follow up, if you like the original you'll like this.

Movie itself, great movie. Girlfriend fell asleep on the original, she stayed awake and was interested in this one, that says alot actually lol. As far as picture quality and 4k, it doesn't actually show off 4k as well as I hoped for, the dark/shadow had some issues in certain scenes, and I had this movie run on several TV's as well (LGUJ77, and Samsung KS8700), the dark was better on the Samsung but that's the inherent difference of the TV not the actual production of the film. The sound quality was amazing, crisp, the ocean/rain scenes were exquisite. I didn't check out the extras, so I can't comment on those. I still gave it a 5, because I think for the price,this is a great buy.

Really enjoyed this movie well worth a watch if you haven't yet.

Dir. Denis Villenueve (BladeRunner 2049) has done a fantastic job taking viewers back where Ridley Scott left off in the Blade Runner universe (1982). The special effects are marvelous and I really enjoyed the story. Primarily because of the efforts of Ryan Gosling (K) who did a tremendous job as usual. For those who loved Harrison Ford's world from 35 years earlier, this is an enjoyable return, Ana de Armas (Joi) and Sylvia Hoeks (Luv) were particularly good in their supporting roles. Overall, I was happy to see this sequel meet and exceed my expectations.

Beautiful CGI. Great story line but I cannot eclipse the original.
