This is a great movie to add to a collection. Beautiful visuals, excellent soundtrack, and great acting. I really enjoyed the story. The movie follows up nicely to the original film but yet stands on its own. The movie wasn’t shot in 3D , it is a post conversion. Some moments just don’t have any depth while others look nice. The audio is great though and fills the room.

If you're a fan of the original Blade Runner then this is a really good movie, in my opinion. If you didn't care for the original then you probably won't like this one. If you didn't see the first one then some things are going to feel very different because there won't be any prior knowledge. I definitely recommend seeing the first one before seeing this one.

The movie has its good points. Acting and production values are excellent. The movie is too long, the character motivations are too hidden, and the ending is completely unsatisfactory. The special effects are excellent and some of the new gadgets are worthy additions to the Franchise. The Viewer must hit the "I believe" button multiple times when the movie goes off the rails at times.

This is an excellent steelbook edition of an excellent film that deserved the Oscars that it won. The only thing is that this steelbook was extremely difficult to find and it was sheer luck that the store I went to had it in stock. If you manage to get ahold of this particular edition, definitely hang on to it.

Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies of all time... Blade Runner 2049 pulls out all the stops and creates a sequel as moody and intense and thoughtful and noir as the original! No half measures. No cheap trick to make a buck! Sit through the long pauses, they are important, they build the tension and make you think. This one is going in my treasure chest!

First of all it’s decent movie but where this blu rays really shines is the Soundtrack and sound effects, which will really blow your mind. I have a 5.1 setup and this movie def pushed the envelope. Really in my opinion was a major highlight of the movie. Pick this up especially if your into audio. Its a good one to really crank up on your home theater system!

Denis Villeneuve is obviously a fan of the original 1982 cult classic. He has infused the style and feel of that film into this beautiful-to-look-at sequel. It's great to see Harrison Ford in the Deckard role again more than 3 decades later and Ryan Gosling is fun to watch as the new blade runner. I can't wait to see what Villeneuve does with Dune next.

I loved the first Blade Runner, so was eagerly awaiting this new movie. The visuals are clearly spectacular, so watching on the biggest screen possible is recommended. Some would say the series is slow paced because very dialog driven. But I personally like the performances and the pace; not meant to be a summer action blockbuster with explosions every other scene.

This is a reference quality video and sound uhd. It was shot digitally at 3.4k (including visual effects rendering) and mastered at 4k. It's cinematographer won the academy award for this film. It is pure eye candy. The story is good, but the pacing is a tad on the deliberate side. It is a worthy sequel to the original Blade Runner, but is an overall lesser film.

I saw the first Blade Runner when I was a kid and the movie blew me away! Nothing at that time had such fantastic graphics. It was far ahead of its time. I was worried the sequel would be disconnected from the first but the writers did a wonderful job connecting the second film to the first. I know there are many mixed reviews but I enjoyed watching this film. The only reason I didn’t give it full stars is: Nothing beats the original!

Glad I bought this sequel to the original, of which I also have. It's ok and somewhat entertaining. I did like it, but did not love it.

I'm glad this movie offers appeal to younger audiences who did not grow up with its fantastic parent, the original Blade Runner. Personally, I'd like to imagine Ford and his g/f lived out their lives ala Millenium Man, but it's not my story to tell. Plus, since your TV doesn't have to do the work to upscale, you'll enjoy fluid motion and life-like quality.

Blade Runner 2049 is one of those few moments where a sequel does not necessarily top it's predecessor, but amplifies on it whilst not taking away from it's merits nor what it is personally setting out to do. It executes well what it intended and will live on to reach cult status as the original did years to come from now. It is visually stunning and well acted.

This is a great sequel to the original, which I also own. Glad they included Harrison Ford in part of this. The 4k video and the surround sound are really awesome in this movie. Glad I bought this sequel. Story line has nice connections with original, including actors from Blade Runner.

Saw the movie at the theater and I quite enjoyed it. The movie is a little long but you can also press pause and finish watching later. This 4K disc is supposed to be a true 4K transfer. The visuals and HDR looks great, but wished it had Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos sounds good and the soundtrack is loud. It's worth picking up in my opinion, even at full price.

People will hate me for this but I actually enjoyed Blade Runner 2049 more than the original Blade Runner. It has a great story, music is great, all of the actors do an amazing job. Then, the movie looks excellent. I had to buy the 4k version because this movie should not be seen in any other format.

First off, I have to say this is a gorgeous disc. The sound and picture quality are superb. Not for showing off, mind you, but definitely to highlight how good Ultra HD looks. Secondly, this was a sequel worth waiting for. Though Harrison Ford is only in a third of the film, Ryan Gosling carries it most of the way and does an admirable job. 5.0 out of 5

But watch both Ana de Armas and special attention to scene stealer Sylvia Hoeks. Same dark seedy and also super modern beautiful scenes & sets. Follows the same spirit of the original . Another classic.
