Had they cut it shorter it would have been much more enjoyable. Nonetheless it is a master work.

I wasnt a fan of the original (i know i know i get shamed by nerds in the forums). My one friend really enjoyed the movie and stressed i should give it a chance. I did and i will say if you like the original you will love this one and if you werent a big fan of the original then you will probably like this one even better. This is a must see for sci fi lovers

If your a longtime fan of the first bladerunner cult classic, you will love this next installment. The characters, storyline and special effects honor the first bladerunner movie accurately. The plot has interesting twists to keep you guessing and some tragedies as well. Well worth getting.

Great movie, but it's somewhat disappointing that this is the best Warner Bros could do when it comes to creating a steelbook cover for a movie as visually extravagant as this one. So many images they could've used instead of this admittedly colorful but generic orange/teal color scheme.

2049 is one the few sequels that is good as the original. This one is a slow burner, so there might be some scenes that would get boring for a while. However, one cannot deny how beautiful the film looks. Great performances by Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford! Story can be a little confusing at first but it's when fun you're connecting the pieces together.

Of course this movie will be compared to the original Blade Runner. However, taken on it's own Blade Runner 2049 is a great piece of science fiction that further explores and expands on the original world created by Ridley Scott. The slow pacing is not for everyone, but give it a chance.

It captured a lot of the magic and appeal of the original movie. A little slow in some parts but a solid entry. If you haven't seen the original 1982 movie, it will be confusing. Do yourself a favor and watch the first one beforehand.

This follow-up movie does not live up to my expectation. Buy and watch it at a discount.

Excellent continuation of the original, exploring the question of what it means to be human. Lots of details to support the world itself, as well as the societal and environmental evolution that happened between the two films. I’m gonna have to watch it again a few times.

Was very excited when i first had known this was happening..... harrison to be in as well?! Yes it lived up to expectations.... great edit and visual with a sound track to fit well also. Perhaps not for everyone but if you are a fan of the original then this sequel will be a must.....

Thankfully Best Buy STILL SUPPORTS 3D film when available, and this is a TRUE must own! Blade Runner 2049 is an absolutely draw dropping film, and if you have a 3D setup, then this is the way that it simply must be experienced!

I have an Oled, so I try to get the best picture quality. Having physical 4k dvds is much better than streaming it. Blade runner looks lit

A very Good Conclusion to the original blade runner movie !!!! good to see harrison ford back in action. and the plot to this movie explains alot in the story. i would highly recommend this movie and the visual in this movie are awesome : )

If u have a wack theater setup u aren’t benefiting your senses when u view the masterpiece. I cant believe that it’s been 35 years since the original but it doesn’t disappoint on any beat. They did a great job on this movie, cast, production and visual and audio effects to name a few.

Box office bomb - DVD gem. 49 is a fine finish to Blade Runner. If you have not watched Blade Runner, find it watch it then finish it up by watching 49. Both are great movies and worth the price of admission.

The original Blade Runner set a new standard and created a tone that many dystopian future fiction movies copied. The sequel misses the mark when it comes to matching the tone of the original, but it makes up for it in creep factor. Still, this is a good movie with excellent special effects (better than the original), and as sequels go it’s pretty good.

If history has taught us anything, sequels usually aren't worthy and they are never superior to the original. Well Denis Villeneuve broke the rules on that one as Blade Runner 2049 is better than the original. It's beautiful and long, so if you want a short action SciFi stay away.

Awesome movie, good plot, lots of action, doesn’t remind me of any other movie, the sound is amazing if you have a 5 or 7ch system one of the best sounding movies out there!!

This movie was a long time coming. Definitely a modern day masterpiece. Its longer and slower than the original movie, but that's not a bad thing. I was interested in this movie from beginning to end. Its beautiful in 4k. I highly recommend getting the 4k version if you can.

This movie is in my top 5 movies of all time. The cinematography, the story-telling and world building, the acting, the effects, all of it is out of this world. Dennis Villeneuve created a perfect sequel to an already cult classic.
