While this is supposed to be a successor to the previous movie and there are many references to it, this movie easily stands on its own as a sci-fi thriller/detective movie that explores aspects of humanity along with societies prejudices towards many topics. Recommended.

Well, they finally released a sequel to 1987's Blade Runner. TBH, this movie will only be liked by Blade Runner fans. The movie is long and unless you know the original movie, you will generally not understand what is going on. Since Blade Runner was one of my fave movies, i liked the sequel. The cast was good, but the movie was just too long.

I’m a huge fan of the original, especially the narrated version and this one hit the mark on all counts. Visually stunning, great story and the sets were stunning. Well cast and acted. Must see. And if you have not seen the first one get that and then watch this one.

Not much to really say here. The movie is incredible, and a worthy sequel to a sci-fi classic. And the image quality in 4K is out of this world. I keep playing this one back as I just can't get enough. No brainer purchase for someone looking to expand their UHD collection!

I was a little disappointed by this sequel. Left me with more questions than answers.

The movie had me so interested kept me interested what was happening and wondering what was happening to the tree of life why it was dead tree was still standing so much going on and he thought he was the child they were looking and all the time it was a female love the ending

If you want to see the most stunning movie visually of 2017 then BR 2049 Is the movie to see. Don’t let the running time, turn you off in seeing it Just sit back and let yourself be transported in to this world created by director Denis Villeneuve, A simply stunning film.

The transfer of Blade Runner 2049 is nothing short of stunning in 4K HDR. This is demo material and sets a new bar for what Ultra HD is all about. The steelbook case is a thing of beauty with excellent imagery of Agent K on the cover and Rick Deckard on the back. Recommended.

This movie is stunning. Period. I am viewing this on an LG OLED tv with and LG UHD blu-ray player and the picture is flawless. The movie is a wonderful continuation of Riddly Scott’s masterpiece Bladerunner. I strongly suggest seeing the first film before watching this one.

Without doubt this is the best 4K sci-fi movie we've seen in the past decade, this is one of the best discs you could have in your collection both in terms of sci-fi thriller action and ways to demo your 4K system.

Love this movie, one of the best sci-fi sequels. Ties in with first movie perfectly and keeps some of the big questions open-ended, which I like. The 3D was just decent in this - as a 3D fiend I had to have it, but overall the 4K UHD release is probably the best way to watch this film. The 4K steelbook was beautiful but sold out immediately.

Denis Villeneuve can do no wrong. Blade Runner 2049 is up there woth the best movies of all time. I love it more than the original.

I love the original and when I heard the second was coming out plus the cast that was in involved I knew it was going to be good. It did not disappoint. After seeing it in the theater I knew I was going to buy it cause I'm definitely going to watch it on multiple occasions.

Good movie, kind of slow but looks good in 4k. Good for the 4k collection

This was a gift for my son who LOVES Bladerunner. I loved the original movie - the atmosphere, setting, vision, flying cars designed by Ford, abandoned buildings... This is no different, but I found this movie harder to follow...and the suggestion that Decker was a replicant was pretty much lost on me...but my son loved it!

This movie is too good to flop as hard as it did. It extends the story of the original without committing the sequal sin of explaining away the mysteries in the original.

SUCH an amazing film. It does justice to the original while also being quite thematically different. The cinematography alone is worth the purchase. It's really quite jaw-dropping in 4k. The score is also phenomenal.

Im a HUGE scifi fan. The original Blade Runner remains one of my all time favorites. This sequel is perfect. 30 years later and they have made a better movie in every way. The world building and cinematography is excellent! And the soundtrack gives me goosebumps!

One word describes watching Blade Runner 2049 in 4K with HDR "AWESOME"! The iconic Harrison Ford alongside Ryan Gosling with great action and dynamic backgrounds this film is a must buy for everyone with a 4K TV.

Being a fan of the original movie this one had a lot to prove to be a successor. You have to watch this movie with an open mind and then link it to the original. No spoiler alerts here but it might take 2-3 viewings to catch it all ! I enjoyed it in Blu Ray quality !
