Excellent Follow-up to the original. Stands on its own. Picture quality is great but the Atmosphere soundtrack included on even the Blu Ray version is a treat. Must buy for anyone that liked Blade Runner.

I'll be the first to admit that I never saw the original, but went in as a blind purchase for this one. I'm really glad I did, because this is an absolute beast of a movie. Even without the context of the first one, this is a great film that I'd recommend to everyone.

This is the real deal. Movies aren't made like this anymore. If you are a fan of CLASSIC cinema than this movie is it. Its not a fast paced, hollow action sequence film for movie zombies with no attention span. There are no slow-mo explosions to make up for a weak, thin and cheap plot line. Silly children, Michael Bay did make this movie.

Great follow up to original all the years later... the tone set.. it all makes sense and works... Didn't expect it to be as good as it was... Do Android's dream of electric sheep? Thumbs and Toes up... Maybe one day we will know...

“Blade Runner 2049” is a movie best experienced on the big screen, or at least the highest-possible definition on a TV. However, this Blu-ray still contains high enough quality, as well as enough fascinating special features and bonus material, to be a stellar release for anyone without the ability to play 4K UHD discs (like me).

A very worthy successor to Ridley Scott's original. While it might not push the ideas as far as Scott's own (unofficially Blade Runner-esque) Alien: Covenant, it is beautiful and this is the best way to watch it.

Sadly, this movie under-performed in the US. My thought is that most people don't want a movie that has requires some thought on deep issues and is also almost three hours long. You don't need to have seen the original Blade Runner, but it does add to the experience.

This is a beautiful, eery and well done movie in the Blade Runner universe. It is not a pure sequel but it did well to build on the world and advance the story . A must watch if you are into Blade Runner or sci-fi.

They don't make films like this anymore. It can be slow, but every shot is framed to immerse viewers in the atmosphere. The story is told mostly through atmosphere rather than solely exposition. The disappointing final act detracted little from my overall enjoyment.

Visually, this film is beautiful to watch! Advancements in visual effects puts this a slight step above the original. However, IMO, the story is a confusing mess and clocking in at under 3hrs, its hard not to watch it without falling asleep. I think that the behind-the-scenes features are more interesting than the film itself.

Blade Runner 2049 is great follow-up to the original Blade Runner. Although I personally don't think has the same impact as the original, it is a nicely done sequel. 3D Blu-ray effects are worth the little extra cost of the set.

Blade Runner 2049 is a tour-de-force of cinematic magic and worth every penny in this jaw-dropping, 4K UHD Blu ray transfer. Cyberpunk is most definitely alive and well and this film proves that there is still room for more to come from this amazing franchise!

This movie has a lot of the same pacing elements as the original. I thought the cast put in a solid effort. The effects were what you would expect. My only negative is that this movie didn't clue into the larger universe so much. This was an A to B noir detective flick with some of the magic of the original, but only some.

Really wanted the movie to be something special. Maybe too much anticipation. The original was like Seven. Lots of rain and texture. Missing from this one. 3D effects are OK. Some scenes too long. Spending too much time thinking of reasons to like the film. Good not a knockout. Don’t go by me - watch the film and decide.

I enjoyed the movie and was a good throwback that stayed true to the original scifi and film noir origins. I wanted to get the 3D copy while it was available, so appreciated this nice Best Buy exclusive. Much better than when it is only available via imports.

This steelbook quickly sold out at bestbuy but luckily able to find one in my local store. It's the regular blu-ray version and includes a DVD and digital code that can be redeemed in movie anywhere. Overall great purchase and recommended if you can find one.

This is my favorite film from 2017. It's a terrific sequel to Blade Runner that honors the original while also offering something new. Top notch acting, directing, and cinematography. One of the most visually stunning films you will see anywhere.

This shines in 4k hdr. Lots of love and thought went into the making of this film and it shows. Phenomenal set pieces, brilliant special fx and a very deep narrative. Buy it and appreciate it for what it is, a trip further into the questions of existence
