I bought this primarily because I read that it was an excellent 4K + UHD blu-ray. The HDR transfer does not disappoint, and when I loaded the blu-ray Dolby Atmos was an option. The movie itself was decent, but expect a slow burn and a somewhat unsurprising plot twist. Decent flick, amazing visuals.

Great sequel to the original Blade Runner, but has much more of a coherent plot, story and character development. Great, if sometimes disturbing, performances by all. Looks great in 4K - highly recommended for lovers of the first movie.

absolutely love this film, it is long but give it a chance, it has some amazing visuals and sound track is awesome! love the synth music and the director has never disappointed

This was a great movie with a great sound soundtrack. I got it to test out my subwoofer and it did a great job.

Blade Runner, for me, is one of the best sci-fi movies hands down and easily my favorite Harrison Ford movie (I feel like Star Wars were movies Ford was in rather than Ford movies themselves, as opposed to say The Fugitive or something like that), so I had a lot of trepidation towards this movie even though it was reviewing well. I'm here to tell you that trepidation was well founded, though not necessarily on any kind of critical basis, but rather a sentimental one. Especially watching this and the original back-to-back is probably the worst thing you can do as a fan of the original, it just kind of breaks the mystique down and cheapens everything... That said, if you didn't grow up watching the original but want to watch this instead of that, then by all means help yourself because I think you'll enjoy this.

Amazing 4k version compared to the blu-ray version. Definitely worth the upgrade to 4k, even if you already have the blu-ray version.

Great movie, truly a great follow up to the original movie. It’s great visuals and the story keeps you entertained the entire time. I really enjoyed it and want to watch it again soon.

Movie is a solid sequel to the Original Blade Runner but not for everyone. It is largely a story driven movie and little on action. It’s a slow burn for sure. 4K looks visually amazing and Atmos track helps especially when it comes to certain scenes in the movie taking place in downpours.

Awesome movie during a period where it seems most modern films are made with only teens and young adults in mind. I enjoy a comedy or horror film once in a while, but they've become very unoriginal.

but I think in this day and age it might be a bit slow for some people. it does lay some background work, so if you like the details and build thi sis a great movie, but again some might find it boring.

As someone who's never seen the original Blade Runner movie, I thought the movie was great, I did eventually watch the original but it was after watching this version. Do not buy for 3D, you will be disappointed, you're better off buying the 4K Blu-Ray.

A very interesting movie with amazing visuals that come close to the original. The characters and performances are great, but I am still thinking about the story and whether is was a good connection to the original or went in its own weird direction.

I am partial to the original as i used to watch it with my dad when i was a kid. This new movie looks amazing but it doesn't feel like a sequel. Seems more like a reimagining with harrison ford thrown in the mix. Not what i was expecting...but, still a cool movie on it's own. Steelbook looks nice

I've always been a fan of Blade Runner, this latest installment is just phenomenal. The atmosphere and ambience delivered thoughout is amazing. Awesome special effects and incredible Atmos soundtrack - a perfect system demo disc.

Blade Runner 2049 is perhaps one of the best sequels ever! Expanding on the mythos established in the first film and surpassing it in every sense. Action packed and beautifully shot. The quality of the Blu-Ray disc and cover is great.

When I first saw blade runner 2049 at the theater I didn’t enjoy it as much as when I got my copy of the Blu-ray version at Best Buy I have seen it to three times and I’m so glad that I bought it. Now I enjoy the film so much more

Being a fan of Blade Runner and a friend of Syd Mead, I really enjoyed this movie. Syd designed Vegas in this movie, too. Though not equal to the original (nothing is) it was quite good...good enough to add it to my blu ray collection.

I was skeptical when I heard it was being made as the original was such a classic. But after finally seeing it, its stands just as innovative and brillant as the original was!! A must see masterpiece!!!
