Classic sci-fi that looks awesome in 4k. WOuld reccomend

This is the first 4k movie I bought. I watched the first 10 minutes and put the regular blu-Ray in. Huge difference. The texture and color on the 4k was way better. I've heard that you can't see a difference between blu-ray and 4k blu-ray. That is not the case. Huge difference. I watched it on my 60" 4k LG and LG 4k player. Set to cinema mode. 30 on back light. 50 on brightness. 50 on color. 10 on sharpness. Most people are watching there tvs on vivid or standard. It's not accurate or realistic. All the tv calibrators recommend cinema mode with the levels I listed. At first it will look different. But after a few days your eyes will adjust and you'll see all the detail and texture that was covered up by over brightness and glowing colors. You'll be glad you did.
