This was my first time seeing blade runner. I was skeptical at first because a lot of people said they did not like the movie however I decided to take the plunge and watch it on 4K UHD disc. Totally worth it if you are a fan of sci-fi and I am not sure why people are complaining about it. The visuals look insanely good for how old this movie is and they did a good job remastering it. The movie definitely has a lot of grain though. Overall I recommend buying the movie. Can't wait to watch blade runner 2049 on disc next!

The 4K UHD version of "Blade Runner" looks fantastic. After some lackluster experiences with other 4K HDR movies, Blade Runner is one of the few that impresses. It really looks incredible for an older movie. Definitely the best way to experience this classic, if you have a 4K HDR setup. It's hard to imagine anyone being disappointed with this.

An excellent transfer of an all time classic film the way it is supposed to be seen. Depth and clarity of picture is amazing. I recently saw the reboot version of the film blade runner 2025 and the picture here is so much better. Bonus is that this is the movie like it was meant to be experienced no studio narration just pure Bladerunner.

I've always loved Ridley Scott's version of Philip Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep." I bought the movie when it come out on VHS tape. I bought it when it came out on DVD disc. Now I have in in glorious bluray.

As one of the few movies in my "Must Have" collection, I'm very impressed with the film quality and vast enhancements from my previous DVD disk! Like watching a whole new film.

The 4K UHD disc (why you're buying this!) does shine though. The film is very grainy (a tight grain, similar to TV static) but there is a noticeable amount of sharpness, clarity, better colors and HDR used throughout. Compared to the Blu-Ray, this is one definitely worth upgrading. If you don't like grain though, this may be one to pass on.

I won't talk about the film itself. It is a classic. One of cinema's best. On the technical side the film has never looked better. You will notice things you never noticed before and constantly be saying, "Wow!"

With its dystopian setting, Ridley Scott's direction, music by Vangelis, acting by Harrison Ford, Sean Young, Edward James Olmos, Daryl Hannah, Joanna Cassidy, and especially Rutger Hauer - one might almost forget it has a good story, too. One of my all-time favorite movies, and really should be the 'final cut' of this classic.

I should probably revise my title to include age 40 and over because i'm not sure the younger generation would appreciate this movie. The movie itself certainly isn't for everyone but the video quality and sound can't be denied. It flat out looks and sounds amazing, especially considering it was filmed around 1980. Highly recommend!

The glitzy grimy future you remember that never was. BR is a classic of early 80's film-making and futurism. OK, so we still don't have those amazing flying cars, but the rain soaked streets and a young vibrant Harrison Ford still look awesome in this release.

The movie is awesome in 4K. This is not a cheesy 4K rendition. However, I play it on an XBOX One S and it freezes momentarily at a few spots. It resumes eventually. I have other 4K Blu Ray movies and they play fine. Perhaps it is my copy. Thinking about getting a replacement somehow. Rating is for movie content not glitches in disk.

If you even remotely like Sci Fi then this is a classic must see. The special effects were miles ahead of their time when they came out and they still hold on. Harrison Ford adds another memorable character to his collection. It just feels like Chinatown in the future. Love it!

This move is a true classic; never disappointing. I'm always amazed at how many new movies and series still use similar visionary cues from this movie. The 4K presentation is pretty good, but seems grainy in some scenes. Otherwise, a good experience with an excellent soundtrack.

In my opinion the most underrated sci-fi film ever made.! The 4K Ultra transfer is stunning and the stores price range didn't set my budget back. If you are a cult film fan of the show or just want to see one of Harrison 's best performances this movie will fill that void..!

Another Sci-Fi classic from Ridley Scott! He has directed some of great action movies of our time and Blade Runner is one of them. Harrison Ford, Sean Young, and Rutger Hauer provide the action and drama in this Sci-Fi cult thriller. The DVD Blu-Ray edition is great with its fantastic sound and sharpness!

A masterpiece of 4K UHD! I can't say enough positive things about this disc. I put this on the projector with my surround sound. I was blown away with how good it sounded and it how great it looked in UHD. If you have the setup, you should definitely get this movie on 4K UHD Blu-ray, you won't regret it.

Saw this recently in a theater anniversary showing and knew I would add it to my collection...From Rutger’s speech, to the controversy over whether Harrison was playing a Replicant or not, this dark view of the future (in 1982) film in noir style, engages deeply.

Blade Runner falls into my top 25 movies. It has all the melancholy I desire in my sci-fi and feels more real and lived in than any other movie of the genre. The Final Cut is good, but I prefer a couple key scenes in the Director's Cut. The FC is still great however, and fixes many errors.

If you liked the original you will like this technologically updated version. Film noir relies more on plot and imagery than color and sharp focus, thus, 4K does not necessarily enhance the viewing experience. But we watched the dvd on a new 4K, HDR tv and loved it! But I loved the original dvd version too.
