I had never watched any previous form of Blade Runner before now, but after getting this disc, I can't believe what I was missing out on. From the noir style to the unique universe the movie is placed in, this movie is nothing short of a masterpiece. The technical side of things are great, also. With a transfer that keeps its "filmic" elements intact, along with top notch audio quality, this will not disappoint. Keep in mind that the "Final Cut" version that we get with this release is known as the one that Ridley Scott, himself, had complete artistic control over.

I love this movie. I remember watching it many years ago and loved it then. So, when they came out with the final cut, I immediately went out and got it. To be honest, it was so long ago when I last saw it that I could only tell minor changes. But apparently, some people didn't think too much of this version. Me personally, I thought it was great. Very clear, digitally remastered and visually stunning. This is a very artistic film. I highly recommend it! Also, if you like visually artistic films like this you may want to check out The Fountain and Dark City, two very unique films.

Coming from the book it is inspired by, this movie disappoints. They leave out a lot about what made the book interesting (electric animals, empathy) and it kind of feels like an empty shell that just took the general premise of the book. But coming from the movie itself, it still is an good watch and I like how they interpreted Philip K Dick's world. Plus, the bonus features are pretty cool: a full documentary plus full movie commentaries with the director and other individuals. So for the price of $5, you still get a lot of value.

Great old movie to be produced on Blu Ray and added to one's collection. Harrison Ford is a classic. The original Blade Runner as a precursor to the latest.

This movie is one the greatest! I was kinda of skeptical how the 4k transfer would look, boy was I wrong! The blacks and colors are great, you can see all the fine details! This movie is almost 40 years old as well and it looks stunning! This is a must own for any 4k owner or movie lover!

I've seen the original and the first "director's cut" from the early 90s, and this new "final cut" easily outshines them all. What you get is Ridley Scott's fully realized vision of this sci-fi classic. Note you only get this final cut version of the film; to get the earlier versions you have to buy one of the multidisc sets.

For the price (I got it for $15), this is a great package. Cool hardcover book packaging with tons of color photos, plus a solid transfer with multiple cuts of the movie (including Assembly Cut and Final Cut). It's missing some of the features from the previously released larger set, but this is still a great value.

This DVD rocks! Not only because he is one of my favorite actors, but you can't go wrong with Harrison Ford. This movie goes back to the good 'ole days when we actually lived life and loved it. Can't wait to get the new one on DVD that is coming to the movies...

The copy seems to have some manufacturing defects - there is a finger print on the UHD disk and it looks like some kind of liquid dripped in the case and on some of the disks.

I picked this up on Black Friday for $15. The picture quality on this 4K UHD is phenomenal! If you're a fan of this film, then you are in for a treat, due to the spectacular transfer.

Dick's stories generally have to be turned inside out to make them into movies (see Total Recall), but this movie proved faithful to the book while still providing a spectacular cinematic experience

Blade Runner the original theatrical release is a great movie. Unfortunately this is the Final Cut which is a remastered version of the Directors Cut. In this version they cut out Harrison Fords narration and the original happier ending plus they added a useless unicorn day dream scene that is not linked with the origami unicorn at the end and adds nothing to the movie. The trailer on this page calls this the Original Cut so I was disappointed that that is not what I received. That being said, the quality of this disc is excellent. It is very crisp and the sound is great. If you are not nostalgic for the Original release then you will still like this movie. I just wish they would remaster the original theatrical version.

Blade Runner is easily in the top 5 best science fiction films of all time. On blu-ray, it looks spectacular.

This 4k blu ray is an excellent restoration of a classic movie. If you own a 4k tv and enjoy this film, I highly recommend adding this to your collection.

The classic sci-fi movie of the 1980s. Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford at their best. Transfer quality is amazing. Definitely worth upgrading from DVD.

This is one of my favorite sci-fi movies. In 4k, it's absolutely stunning. I'm picking up background details I never saw before.

A good movie is now even better. This is an example the changes a director wants to make not detracting from the film.

Picture and sound were excellent until player froze due to a scratch on the disc. The scratch was present on disc opening. Returned to store second copy was also scratched immediately showed ckerk and got my cash back.
