Very funny classic movie! Must own for the cheap price

I bought the wrong one, Don,t care for the LANGUAGE. Too many foul words not needed. I think there is a copy with editing, I would consider that one.

This movie is funny, but perhaps not super-funny. The classic farting scene is funniest, but it's pretty low-brow humor.

I am a big fan of Spaceballs and was assuming that this would be along the same lines. I was very disappointed to find out that this was not the case. The story line seems to be fairly straight forward but the path that it takes to get there is full of detours and pit stops and fails to hold your attention.

Interesting movie. It was in the $4 bin and I picked it up.

Blazzing Saddles on Blu-ray is a shining example of how a 30 year old film can be restored if given the proper care and concern. The transfer is taken from the high def. master that was produced for the 2003 re-issue of the film on DVD. To say that this release, along with the HD-DVD, is not a vast improvement over ALL previous releases is misleading. It is a 30 year old film and not a new computer generated comedy, so some film grain should be expected and not attributed to a poor transfer. Surprisingly enough, the film grain is rather sparse, even in commonly problematic dark colors. I only wish the film had lossless audio. That being said, buy with confidence if you are a fan of the film or are looking for a great representation of what an older film should look like in high definition.

This is one of my husband's favorite movies from college days. We have it on DVD, but decided to upgrade. For a movie made in 1974, the blu ray quality is outstanding!! The sharpness and colors are wonderful. If you've never seen this movie, be prepared to listen to a lot of swear words, and political uncorrectness, but it's a mel brooks film, and it's all done in good humor. Definately worth the money on Blu ray!!

About time this film made it to Blu-ray. Picture and sound is great. Plenty of extra's included on the disc that are good and informative. Truly a funny film that stands up to today's comedy films.

Even though Richard Pryor turned down the lead role, he still stayed on board to co-write and it still was pure greatness. The plot is just ridiculous, and its funny from the beginning to the end. A must have if you like comedies and western

this is incredibly funny it might be questionable because it is very racist and drops the N word more than 5 times if you can take a joke this is very funny.

You can't beat the price on this classic comedy. Pick it up, it is worth owning. It

This movie is irreverant it could not be made today. Mel Brooks' non pc dialogue makes for nonstop laughs.

One of if not the greatest Mel Brooks movie ever. A classic movie through and through full of laughs that will keep u watching over and over again.

It is by far one of the most hilarious comedies ever put together by Mel Brooks. You won't find a funnier Western, ever.

This Blue-Ray version of 'Blazing Saddles' presents slightly upgraded picture quality, the only question being - is it that much better than standard dvd as to warrant spending the moeny if you already own it? Probably not. While this disc faithfully ports over all the special features from previous dvd edition, it really offers nothing new much new in terms of extras. So the bottom line is, do you feel like spending a good chunk of money for picture quality that will only be slightly noticeable when viewed on a high quality large widescreen HDTV? Unless you're a person who just has money to burn, I'd recommend just buying the special standard edition dvd and saving yourself about $20."
