Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NOTHING is securing the gasket to the inside of the lid - it can (and has) fallen out into the dishwasher or anywhere else the lid is when not screwed onto the bottle. We’ve purchased four of these new metal-lined bottles in the past eight weeks and this is the second time a gasket has fallen out (we found the first one in the bottom of the dishwasher). I have had this one less than six weeks BlenderBottle's solution is to pay $5 for a new lid as there are "no manufacturing defects and they don't supply the gaskets individually." If the gasket is not secured to the lid and can fall out, there is a design problem.
