Good basic video for Civil War

In comparison to the PBS Ken Burns series, this program is less comprehensive due to its shorter time. In terms of being a more approachable program, I would say that this show comes up as a great alternative. The pricing is much better than the PBS series and content is balanced and a good introduction. Young children and sensitive viewers should be aware that colorization of battlefield photos is graphic, however I did not find this objectionable.
