I bought this desktop microphone for my grandson who had just built a custom made Gaming Computer. He Loves it.

I bought this microphone after reading a lot of reviews. While there were many who talked about how the mic was not reliable, I ignored those reviews thinking that they were a vocal minority. When I bought the microphone (for about $80), it was great: Good sound quality, high build quality, and all the features I would want in an affordable package. However, it only took a couple of weeks for me to start hearing beeping and whining sounds out of the headphone output, as well as having issues using it with Discord, a voice chat app. I would recommend considering other options.

Work amazing until the charging port broke after just a couple weeks and only being moved twice. Other than that great.

I use this as a traveling companion for videos and podcasts. Definitely get a boom mic stand to keep the mic off a desk. Any mouse movements or keyboard hits get picked up that way. Oh, also pick up a windscreen to cut plosives. I bought a cheapo $5 one that works perfectly.

Before I devolve into my sardonic review let me be dead-serious that the Yeti Nano is an excellent, high-quality microphone that will make its target audience deeply happy. Do not take my tone below to mean otherwise. If you do your research you will see this mic is well-loved and, I would argue, for good reason. That being said if you: * Just want to plug it in and use it, maybe adjusting the gain knob a little from time to time * Neither have nor want knowledge of sound engineering * Don't want to spend time tweaking settings to improve quality and remove unwanted noise * Want to use this in an environment that's not dead-silent If you are any of those things then look elsewhere. Even in the cardioid pattern this microphone picked up everything in my environment. Sitting on my desk it especially brought in key presses, mouse clicks, and the smallest noises made around me. My desk sits in the dining room of our 1000sqft condo and so all the noises of the nearby kitchen came through too. Turning down the gain and tweaking settings didn't help one bit. It took a very short amount of time for me to lose interest in trying to adjust the plethora of settings just right to produce acceptable quality. That's compared to the headset-mounted boom mic I previously utilized which had little to no issue with environmental noise. So if you're not that sort of person then quick, drive down to the Issaquah, WA Best Buy, there's a like-new open-box Yeti Nano waiting for you at a discounted price. But if you're like myself then you are NOT the target audience for this microphone. Take heed: you are looking to spend way too much time and money on a mic. Go find something simpler and cheaper.

It works to my sons conntent and works great with just picking up himself in a living room where his desk is so its very isolated on other noises.

While not top of the line you get great performance out of this microphone without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend as a starter mic!

Purchased as part of my remote work setup, figured the manual gain knob could stop me from having to scream nesrly deaf people's social security numbers back at them. Unfortunatly, despite the product promising results and looking super cool on my desk z it's either inherently broken or unable to make use of my USB 3 power

Works as stated. Like the wired component and volume/mute button on the microphone.

Great overall! I use it specifically for Microsoft Teams calls for work and love the upgrade on voice clarity. If you want it for video conference calls, this is all you need! Got it on sale for $79.99

Replaced on older blue yeti with this one. It seems to work well but i'm still figuring out the proper setting for me. It is very very sensitive.

I bought this for work desktop and conference calls. This microphone eliminated feedback. I love the mute button and use it to continue typing and eliminate the keyboard noise.

My daughter bought this since her microphone On her headset didn't work well. My daughter loves this!
