best bang for buck microphone since it does everything. I highly recommend this mic
I use it in two settings
1. at home for gaming off a creative X dac - picks up everything but with the options on the mic you can isolate ambient sounds
2. on a docking station at work for podcast / training and development

Easy to use. I bought it to record music-videos onto an iPad using the Acapella app. With a USB-Lightning adapter all you have to do is plug it in and it works. There is a bunch of internet info about complicated ways to hook it up to Apple devices, but they are not necessary. It also can be mounted on a traditional mic stand. The omnidirectional mode makes it work for simultaneous recording of guitar and vocals. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for real-time monitoring of input levels.

great little mic, bought this to replace my OG Blue Yetti, which was massive. The Original Yetti made my swing arm sag, and was just huge. This mic is quality but very light. I'm not fond of the software that comes with it, but great news you don't need it for the mic to work flawlessly. My only complaint is the button to switch from Cartio to 360, I end up hitting that more often than I would like when shifting the mic, which it was a switch rather than a button.

Wish Zoom/Hangouts/Skype didn't mess with levels.

This is not a criticism of the Blue Nano, but a criticism of most meeting software: They all seem to do some kind of auto-leveling of the microphone pre-amp gain. That's fine for the built in mic, but it's annoying if you want finer control over the levels, and doubly annoying if you are direct monitoring your own voice (because the level bounces up and down.)
Still, very good sound quality, and for the price it will pay for itself pretty quickly. I can imagine it would be amazing for podcasting.

I picked up this microphone for conference calls. I just wanted something that was a notch above the built in laptop mic. Boy was I impressed. The sound quality is fantastic. I've had people on conference calls comment just how good I sound. Also it's very much plug & play. I've used it on both Mac & PC seamlessly. It even works on my iPhone. I just use the built in desk stand, but the mic is equipped with a standard tripod mount, along with an included adaptor for a true mic stand. Highly recommend.

I had been using a headphone and microphone combo, it was relatively cheap but while the first few voiceovers for presentations were great I kept getting really bad static on the recording and needed up re-recording things.
Lots of people had recommended the Yeti to me and I am so pleased with it. Extremely easy to use, records brilliantly, plugged it in and screen flow recognized it straight away.
Absolutely love it!

I was swayed into picking this up for the various web based meetings across a number of platforms. It works really well, a far sight better than the built in microphones on headsets and built into my laptops and iPad.
The price is good, maybe more than the Amazon equivalents and other knockoffs, but I found the installation and configuration super simple and intuitive. The ease of use and quality make this a solid choice.

Powerful & Portable

If you're looking for a super-simple solution to your recording needs — you've found it here. Blue's Yeti Nano is a very portable down-sized version of the Yeti that defines quality sound with plug-and-play simplicity. In fact, I doubt you could ever really hear any difference between the original Yeti and the Yeti Nano. Any difference you might think you could hear would be insignificant at best. Well done Blue!

Great product for the price. I was able to use it for song production without much of a problem. The mic has pretty decent presets and vocal editing built right into the software. I'd recommend it for anyone doing podcasts or content creation on a budget.

Bought the mic for my son to use on his school project where he had to write and record an original song. I was able to transform his desktop into a mini studio using a school provided music app without using an audio interface. Sound quality was good because it was able to capture the deep tone of his voice.

Great mic, comes with Blue Sherpa which is decent software but sometimes a little buggy (won’t detect the mic sometimes.) Only real issue with the mic itself is the USB and audio out port locations. When using the mount it came with, it’s fine but with a shock mount (using the screw connector) the ports are partially blocked. Other than that, could use some more features (only has cardioid and omni direction modes.) For that, I would have to say a little more expensive than necessary but it does have good build quality.

Good purchase. As most of the IT people started working remote due to this pandemic, I had to be involved in all day meetings being in management position. I upgraded my home office equipment and one of the primary things to upgrade is the microphone. It was recommended by my colleague. I have been using it for months now and I highly recommend this product to others who have been and will be working remote.

This was surprisingly good for the price. I've used higher priced microphones but needed one for my son and didn't want to spend a fortune. This purchase shocked me in the quality of sound to say the least. It's easily as good as microphones 3x this price and the omnidirectional functionality even makes it great to snag for the occasional board meeting. If you're looking to stream or do your first podcast, I couldn't recommend this more.
