The laptop microphones and cameras are poor quality. This microphone gave us studio quality sound. It even picks up people talking in my classroom as questions are asked and answered by students. A remarkable microphone

Great Mic for Apple iPhone

Connecting to my iPhone was easy, but did require purchase of a micro usb to lightning adapter. This is the only reason why it does not get 5 stars. Would be nice to come with a USB-C and Lightning adapter out of the box even if it was a bit more expensive. Otherwise, the mic is basically plug and play and has a mute function, headphone Jack with volume control and a cardiod/omni pickup patterns. Would recommend this to others looking for a semi premium mic at a decent cost.

Setup is as simple as plug and play. The construction of the materials is high quality. I wish there was a physical adjusted on the mic for gain like the original, but I guess there have to be some trade offs for the lower price.
