But in this case the latter is a failing. The volume/mute control on the front does not appear to work with the USB output. And the microphone is so sensitive that it produces echoes when used for virtual conferences.

Great control between the different settings. Still includes some ambient noise but much better than computer speaker.

Small and Good Sound

Superb mic for the price

It’s definitely an upgrade from using either the webcam or headset microphone as far as audio pickup quality goes. It seems to be more consistent when plugged in to the Mac. I find myself unplugging and reconnecting the mic on Windows (11) to get the mic to function. The Logitech G Hub app is useful to help fine tune the audio settings to your liking.
