Good mic, bad USB cable

Great at eliminating background noise and focusing voice audio. The usb cable that comes in the package however stopped working after the first use. Although we tried unplugging/replugging and even on other machines, it would not pick up the mic. We had to get a new usb in order for it to work again (which seems to be a common issue with these microphones).

The USB powering the mic provides plenty of power for both the Cardoid and Omni mic functions, which a condenser which has mute and volume functions directly on the mic. It also has attachment possibilities for standard stands and other accessories, so it's a great choice for the overall value.

Great mic for anyone.

The Blue brand software is also helpful for working with the mic's auto input gain able to even get sound from another room if needed or isolated to just yourself up close. Can add a boom as well or use its headphone port to hear your self as how others would pre software edit.
