While it is possible to set the gain so that you can use it without feedback while not wearing headphones, it is very tricky. Wonderful if you are wearing headphones - not so much if you are not.

Its ok for what i use it for, but for a really professional setting I dont know that i would love it as much.

It takes time to get the right the settings right so the recording is good. I had to turn the mic on before recording and off after stopping the recording because when you push the button that noise is picked up.

I use it for recording usability test interviews in research projects.it is pretty sensitive and can capture room noises (e.g. AC) if you turn up the gain, so experiment with settings based on the room you are recording. I wish it would weight less to make it more portable.
