I was not disappointed at all. This is probably the best external accessory I've ever owned. I plan on doing a little podcasting and this mic sounds really good. More quality than I think I'll actually need. Buy it. Now.

It's the best Microphone I've been I've experienced being used. My husband claims his buddies can hear me clip my nails, loud enough that the sound annoys them. And they can hear my Netflix show I'm watching on my phone at half volume, across the room, with my speaker turned the opposite way being held up by the blanket...... So he's constantly muting himself and it's the most attention I've seen from him in a long time. Because he's constantly turning around and staring at me with that look. ;)

Love this mic. I use it for music

I usually set it to the stereo setting when I'm playing guitar to get the best sound quality. But sometimes I switch it to the front setting so only the sound in front of the mic is picked up and background house sounds are not, like my dog licking itself. If you want to hear what guitar sounds like on it search "andrew gray the merging song" on youtube.

I had to play with the settings so that it wouldn't pick up sounds that I didn't want it to, but once that was achieved, the sound I hear on playback, and the sound my friends hear when I use this live, is crystal clear with no effort. I love it and looks forward to using it for a long time
