    I recently started a podcast and was looking for an easy to use external microphone. The blue yeti was highly recommended and I see why. No tech issues, it's rugged, and everyone commented how great my sound was compared to others. If you are thinking about this microphone at all, just get it!

    This Blue Yeti replaced a very old Snowball mic. I am very impressed with the sound quality. There are also great options in terms of recording environment. I picked up this mic as an Open Box item. This is one of my secrets to getting quality products at a great price. Check out Open Box products through Best Buy.     This was purchased to pick up the voices of participants in a hybrid Zoom/in-person meeting. It captures the voices of a person in the room who speaks a podium that is about 20 feet from the mic. We are satisfied with this mic. The participants on Zoom are happy with the sound that is transmitted. No music is involved, only spoken word. We are happy with this purchase.
